And here is something I've really been wanting to discuss:

You know how the characters have been named by version? Well, is there anything wrong with their name? Besides the 'Ruby, Diamond, and Pearl are girls' names!' things.

Yellow. It is completely wrong for her. I mean, it sounds right on her, but when you consider what the colour yellow really is. I mean, yellow is the colour of sickness and malady along with green, and... Actually, I'll let this poem I found about the colour explain it:

Now, consider the character Yellow: Kind, gentle, a healer for crying out loud.

Now, do you think there's anyone else with an inappropriate name?

That's true, but that really didn't go into mind when they were getting named. After all, they were named after the version they were based on. And Yellow version was Yellow version becuase....Well, Pikachu is Yellow

So I wouldn't say it's innaporopriate...That's just n odd coincidence.

yeah, it didn't take too long for me to get used to Ruby's name(i just call him "Rubes") and i think Pearl and Berlitz's names should have been switched though

yeah but the issued with that is that berlitz real name will surface when the third game of the diamond and pearl series is realese

BTW, since we're talking 'bout names, in the spanish version of RS Saga, the names should be switched around, Ruby should get Zafiro(Sapphire in spanish), and Sapphire Rubí(Obvious), since Zafiro sounds manlier and Rubí is usually used for females.

yeah the first time i read the manga i read it when it was a raw transleted to inglish so green was green and blue was blue then i read the viz trasleted one and it almost make me crazy because green was blue and blue was green wtf

I do indeed realise that it is but a coincidence, but I just wanted to discuss how those coincidences did not actually fit the character. I am not thick, I did notice that when looking through their names on Serebii for the first time >.>

I really hope Berlitz's name will be Opal. Girasol Berlitz sounds ickier than Opal Berlitz, a nice and normal girl's name.

I'd help with the beta-ing, but I am to busy with upcoming exams.

I can't see Berlitz getting any other name at all besides Opal. I'm really interested in what's going on in the D/P saga. Pearl looks funny so I'd rather get it instead of reading mere plot summary on serebii (better than nothin)
