lol, the only reason i'm good at contests is because I love making pokeblocks and poffins :D
(I have almost my entire berry collection filled! :D )

Ruby: Shojou type manga.

I'm getting Addicted to Black Cat. xD The first chapter was in a Shoen Jump that our school library had and now I must read it.
But, it just screamed Silver to me.

Bleach works for Gold. <3 I was trying to think of something with a Main Hero dude. xD

Has yet to dabble too far in the world of manga. Stupid library has only on issue of Dragonball and one issue of Yu-Gi-Oh!. *Needs to convince library to stock more PokeSpe and less Twilight* But I can see Yellow reading Fruits Basket...

Sucky re-introductory post. Oh, a friend of mine is going as Red to Animania. I make a better Red than him... He's more Gold or Dia-ish.

EDIT: Oh, right. We were doing poems in English recently, and they were based around... Colours. I had to fight every inch of my being to include PokeSpe stuff. But I did slip once when a friend asked me, "What do you think yellow sounds like?", referring to the fact he had to appeal to all senses. I answered "Tara Strong" and promptly headdesked. Then I kept telling people "Tricky" when they asked for ideas about blue, "Calm and methodical" when they inquired about green, "Headstrong" when red was the topic, and I actually once said "Pervy" when I overheard someone talking about the colour gold. Thank God they didn't hear me...

Speaking of which...I keep seeing parallels between the characters of PokeSpe and other anime/manga.

Ever heard of an anime called Digimon? xD

No, seriously. Take a look.

First & Second Saga (which are heavily connected story-wise)

Gold/Davis is hotheaded and impulsive, looks up to Red/Tai (who is the leader of the first set of characters), and is friends with Silver/Ken, who has a sensitive past and an affiliation with darkness. Gold/Davis is connected with fire and electricity - Explotaro/Flamedramon and Pichu/Raidramon. And he wears goggles.

Crystal is kinda like a blend between Yolei and Cody, with more of Yolei's characteristics (weird family issues...) and most of Cody's personality (SERIOUS.)

Yellow is a mix of TK and Kari - young at heart, innocent, has a power that sets her apart from the other 'Dex Holders, a Pokemon that bears a passing resemblance to Patamon...

Third Saga (which references the first/second, but doesn't actually connect with them)

Ruby is like a mix of Takato and Henry (doesn't like to battle, hidden power he doesn't often wield, something of a wimp, notable father), and Sapphire is such a Rika that it's hard not to see it(not afraid to beat people up). @_@ Wallace reminds me of Henry too, but his Pokemon remind me of Kenta. Wally has Kenta's personality, though.

And the color affiliations match Ruby and Sapphire with Takato and Rika beautifully.

xD Yeah, but really, in anime, those are the sterotypes many people use to create characters, and the exsist in almost all anime's.

Ho crap. I read a TON of manga...I tried to make a list of all the manga I've read before, and I stopped around 150. XD

Digimon was teh-shizz. :3 I watched Pokemon more as a child, but I loved Digimon too. Pokemon was my first anime before I even knew what anime was! XD And The Electric Tale of Pikachu was my first manga before I knew what manga was! My first "real" manga was The Vision of Escaflowne...which is a good manga and all, but not a good manga to start with, considering Hitomi ends up naked in like, every chapter. XD It's hard trying to read that stuff at school when you're 13...8D

I'm mad. D< I forgot to tape Pokemon this morning...oh well, I'll just have to catch it again next weekened. :\

Those videos are full of win. 8D And I'm too tired/lazy to answer the topics right now. :3

Sailor Moon was my first anime, but EToP was my first manga... My friend Anthony got it for me when I was in *counts back* 2nd grade, yeah. I think that was when I got my first Pokemon game too...
