Despite the manga is its own canon based off the games... I reckon it's Altomare, despite its non-existancy in the manga. Altomare looks like Venice, this place looks like Venice... AND OHEMGEE COSTUME CHANGE. Ruby has beanie that does not suit him :X And Red and Gold inexplicably have brown hair, and Green's leanng to blonde. Yellow gets biggest picture, yay :D There's no Emerald or Wally.

It's a holiday with casual clothes but Emerald and Wally are sick and couldn't come... and Red, Green and Gold were dared to dye their hair, yes.
 
Ok, I love this picture! Here's what happened: after the thing at the Battle Frontier, the gang heads to Sootopolis (or Altomare) for a vacation. Unfortunately, Emerald can't come because he's explaining the situation to the Pokemon Association and Wally was too sick to travel (seriously, he's my 3rd favorite after Gold and Ruby and he's never used anymore! AGH!). Here's what's going on in the pic: Red: Finally, after 5 years I can relax!; Yellow: Wow. This place is beautiful; Gold: What is that?; Silver: Whatever...; Chris: I'm up here guys!; Green: What is that annoying girl doing?; Blue: Oooh! Ruby's in the doghouse again! I'll tell ya later Green!; Sapphire: WHY WON'T YOU SAY WHAT YOU SAID DURING THE GROUDON/KYOGRE INCIDENT!?!; Ruby: Ow! Don't hurt me! I'm too beautiful to get bruised (Sapphire: YEAH RIGHT!?! *smack*).

Edit: Upon closer look at the picture: I think it actually says Altomare in the middle margin next to the side with Ruby and Sapphire in the boat.

Looks really like Venice. I went there a few years ago and it is really as romantic as on this pic.... *dreamy sigh*

yeah red,green,blue,silver and yellow can strech after being in stone for 2 month or so gold,crystal,ruby and saphire can relax after saving the others and i think there in canaleve city in the sinnoh region is the most similar city i can think of

I've seen this pic before. As to the questions about Red and Gold's hair, I would say lighting. It clearly says Altomare in the corner like sirboulevard said. Even though it's not canon to the manga, or a least as we know, I feel the need to write a oneshot about this. There's so much in this one picture.

Altomare it is, i guess. My eyesight is failing me.
And about their hair......it kinda looks gameverse, for Red & Green. Gold......bleah.
And the pic makes me laugh.

What's your favorite Wally Pokemon?
Got to go with Ralts/Kirlia. Even though it's not really his, it kicks ass. And it is just cute with him. (Steals Ruru from Ruby and gives to Wally).

Ruby: NOEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But Wally's a nice kid! That's why he gives em back. He's a nice honest fella'(unlike the way we potray him in our Fanclub-Fanfic)

Now, off-topic to the topic bout the fanfic....
IT'S STILL TITLELESS!
I intend to post the 1st chappie soon....but we need a title!
Any ideas?

what about we name each saga after the seasons? Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter....
