alright alright... lets stay on topic then. ummm... wat were we talking about? Oh right! Mewtwo and pokespecial anime possibilities. I really thnk if they made a pokespecial anime it would attract the older audience more. it would definitely be innapropriate for kids at times so the kids could have the current anime and the older fan base could have the pokespecial anime. but then again, it would be expensive to make the anime, expensive to ship it, and I don't think that the company would feal it was a good use of money. *sigh*
 
It could probably make them even more money, considering teens in Japan watch the original anime and probably read PokeSpecial anyway. Trying a new series using the manga would probably convince VIZ to sell the real volumes in the USA, instead of those random chapters put together in a book. (Despise the compilation).

well, they are animating the manga version of Full Metal Alchemist now. You never know, we may someday see a pokespecial anime
 
I really don't think a Pokespecial anime would appeal to only the older generation. At first, they might be put off (ONOES, NO ASH! - what a loss -.- -), but kids adapt and like new things quite quickly and will definitely start to like Pokespecial. I mean, it's still Pokemon to them, right?
They would probably have to change a few things, such as applying the changes of the most recent gen to the older ones, but with a little bit of effort it isn't really a problem and could turn the anime into something "Special" (heh).

I disagree. I really think that it would appeal to the older audience. BUt as ive said, its a lot of money.

I'm just saying that it wouldn't appeal to ONLY the older audience.
As for money, everything costs money. But ever heard that story when the government tried to cripple Bill Gates by sueing him 2 billion or so dollars, which he paid without a second thought.
Same scenario, a lot less extreme.
