Finally a thread to discuss the Pokemon Stadium series on the Nintendo 64!

Here you can discuss strategies, which rental team is the best, what nicknames trigger what color changes, how far you have gotten in the game, your opinions, glitches, and tips to help players!

To start off the discussion I would say the coolest looking pokemon in the game would have to be Tyranitar. I've always loved Tyranitar. The dumbest would have to be Feraligatr.

I really can't remember anything about these games so can someone refresh my memory?

    :t354:~*!*~Queen Boo~*!*~

I remembered when playing the games how the Pokeballs appeared out of no where. I thought they arrived via mortar tubes. An other ideas on how the Pokeballs were delivered in the stadium series.

delivered pokeballs? what are you talking about?

I think the best rental team for me would have to be
    Articuno
    Zapdos
    Moltres
and some others but i would use those three the most espicaly on the gym leaders

My copy of Pokémon Stadium 1 is complete but things still do have to be worked out on Pokémon Stadium 2. The Little Cup is such a pain without a transfer pak and a Pokémon G/S/C copy. >_<

about the pokeballs in #1 the blue "light" orb would fall straight from the sky. In #2 they just appear.

Ah pokemon stadium now that brings back good memories I remember the first day I got it. I remember the first time I finished that game man it was long and hard espesially beating Mewtwo in the end. Ive actually been playing it a little bit what a coincedense and the mini games those were really fun with the Lickatunges good very good memories.

I can never beat the lickitung minigame. I rock at the drowzee one and magikarp one.

and what about that Ekans minigame? i love that game. same with the Metapod/Kakuna hardening game. they did a good job of taking some pokemon nobody liked and giving them reason to be remembered. but none of the minigames beat the Chansey minigame in Stadium2, if you ask me. the minigames were worth buying the game, even before the actual game itself.

I like the Metapod/Kakuna hardening game, I also like the Chansey one, I suck at the Pichu one in #2, oh! And I also like the Eevee and Scyther/Pinser ones. Those test your reflexes and I have good reflexes.

The sandshrew minigame was amazing. In #2 I could only play the Scyther/ Pinser with, you guessed it, Scyther. I adore Scyther and I adore that game because of it.

I remember the graphics the most. There was definately a gap between stadium 1 and 2. All the original 151 pokemon looked way worse than the new ones added in S2. I remember Steelix looked really cool in 3D.

This game is flat out amazing. I have a transfer pack so I can play my Gold version on it. I LOOOVVVEE IT!

    I love Pokemon Stadium!
I got them both with a 'Collectors Edition' Pikachu N64 xD

The sandshrew minigame is awesome. I could play it for hours ^^

I too remember the day I got it. It was my tenth birthday and my father took me out of town to get my copy of the game. I invited all of my friends over to play for some good battles. =)

Scizor's 3D model is amazing. If I was to have a pokemon it would be him. Amazing.

I remember Sharking a Ditto to have a bunch of crazy moves then porting it in.

    Ditto used Ice Punch!

    Classic!

Ah!, yes Pokemon stadium 1&2, the most part i like about it is the free battle, it lets you battle up to four players and from that it gets even harder than it was with two players
