Hello all.
After some tinkering with DS ROM hacking, and to much annoyance and admittance of defeat at the convoluted way of replacing audio files, I decided to post the Pokemon stadium 2 versions of Pokemon sounds for everyone to use.
These are down-sampled WAV format files in 8bit 11050hz Mono uncompressed PCM, and are easily insert-able via cryedit. (I used the v1.4 version for this)
As to why I didn't down-sample to 13337hz instead of 11050? - I forgot it was possible to do that, and by the time I found out I was already about 2/3 the way through cleaning up the audio...that was the only reason.
Pokemon fire-red base has the repointed sounds located between 0x71A23C and 0x990068 (which is approximately 2.513MB of free space used), however the space occupied by the original files can be reclaimed for use (the size seems to be around 1.6MB used for that)
Sound files:

Pokemon fire-red IPS with sounds pre-inserted:

SWAR Files for NDS ROMs, #1 to #386 (I don't really care for the gen 6 versions of gen 4/5 pokemon since they sound much worse than the originals)

If you do use the base or use the files, all I ask is for you to credit me for the ripping and cleaning of the audio files only, and to Hal Laboratories for the original files.
