So I had this epic idea. Everyone wants to keep bringing forward their pokemon into the next games. But the rules of the game make it so that you have to acquire certain gym badges before higher level pokemon obey you. This makes sense - the game would be too easy otherwise, but it's a shame that you can't use your beloved team earlier on in the game. So I had an idea (and forgive me if people have had this idea before) - create a starter pack of 5 (or more) level 1 pokemon that are children of your team.

Basically, you'll need to breed each of your favorite pokemon (possibly with ditto) and get eggs for each of them. Once these eggs hatch, depending on the gender of the parent pokemon, you'll even have a moveset that you love! this is great, cause you'll be able to train these guys from level 1 in the new games (Pokemon X and Y) and its always fun to train in the early levels. For example, my pack is as follows:
    Deathwish - BAGON
Unchained - GIBLE - Tackle, Dragon Claw, Stealth Rock, Earthquake
Stormcloud - PIPLUP - Pound, Waterfall, Surf, Grass Knot
    Re-Ignite - TORCHIC
Chuck - RIOLU - Foresight, Endure, Swords Dance, Brick Break
And of course the Gen VI starter, CHESPIN.
I also wanted to breed my Haunter into a level 1 Gastly, but haven't done that yet.

Post your starter packs and whether you like my idea below.

Also, sorry if you came up with this already, I'm a noob and new to these forums and signed up just to post this cause i thought of it.

only 1 small problem with ur ideal, is that we dont how far in the game we need 2 go inorder to tranfer them over, so u may need 2 first complete the game before being allowed 2 tranfer the pokes over u want

That sucks. I hope they change that. I just remembered about how you needed to finish the game first. I guess you could do this after finishing the game? But it's not the same...
    Why...

I don't think you'll be able to trade THAT late in the games, because I don't think X/Y are like FR/LG where you have to finish the game completely to be able to trade gen 3 pokes from R/S/E. As you can see the player had pokes from previous gens, if they're available in-game then why wouldn't they be available via trading early in the game?

    Anyway my list would be:
-Ralts (from Gardevoir with either Calm Mind or Psychic).
-Gastly (from Gengar with Shadow Ball).
    -Mareep (from Ampharos with Thunder).

It's a small list & it might get smaller because I would rather use new pokes from gen 6 than just stick to my favorites from previous gens.

As mentioned above, we're not exactly sure when we'll be able to transfer Pokémon from previous games into X and Y. This is also something that can be done in not just X and Y, but other games as well. So with that being said, it's hard to make a proper response to a thread such as this. Perhaps a thread discussing "Which old Pokémon will you transfer?" would be a better topic since the old one died.
