    Talk about good stats on your pokemon or abilities etc. mine is below:

    One of my favorite pokemon is shuckle. I just got one in d/p and I want to know if it is good so far:
    lvl: 26
    hp: 55
    atk: 21
    def: 136
    sp. atk
    sp. def: 152
    speed: 15
    nature: sassy
    ability: Gluttony
    moves: Toxic, Earthquake(don't have), Rest(don't have), and Double team(also don't have).
    (This shuckle is only lvl. 26-remember that >_>)
    Also, I am looking for another good moveset. I am looking for the following tms though: Double team, Earthquake, and Rest.

    If you have another good moveset, the tms I am looking for, or anything else, please reply below. Thank you ^_^
    (If you think that shuckle sucks, he really doesn't. my friend's is amazing and if you have the proper moveset it's almost unbeatable.)

    I like schuckles...I wouldn't use one cause I hate stalling the game...but this set is possibly the best you canget the turtle wannabe.

    Well you see, it goes like this- Shuckle is a real annoyer due to it's high defense. With Bright Powder the opponent's accuracy is lowered. Start with toxic to poison your opponent, then keep double teaming so the opponent's attacks will mostly miss...when you start getting in the low yellow/red HP wise, use rest...keep doing this until you cant double team anymore and earthquake the opponent. <-- taken from my website.
    Also, it won't be used in tournys and i have finished the game :\

    Shuckle doesn't suck, it rocks out loud. The 3 moves I remember off hand since mines is in level 95, I gave it protect, Toxic, and Subsitute. I forgot the other one

    That's a no-no for me....

    Im one of the 30% of people who use no Ou pokemon or sets.

    Besides...my Flygon handled one nicely the other day.

    btw....no one allows Double Team in competitive battle.

    This is why I hate elitists. They don't allow this, that, or the other thing so that it's "fair" when it's really not.

    It's a freaking game. If something is there, then you should be allowed to make good use of it. Screw evasion clause and "hax item" clause. In fact, screw clauses altogether.

    Shuckle doesn't use any attacks other than (maybe) Wrap or Bind (never both). Hold a Grip Claw if you do use Wrap or Bind, Leftovers if you don't. If Shuckle has an Ability other than Gluttony as a possibility, I'd use that since I wouldn't use a Berry on Shuckle.

    Shuckle @ Grip Claw; Sturdy
    Bold; 252 HP, 176 Defense, 80 Special Defense
    Substitute
    Wrap
    Toxic
    Stealth Rock

    That's what I'd do. I could use Calm instead of Bold and switch the EV totals on Defense and Special Defense (either both or neither, never try 80 Defense with a Bold Nature), too, but the moves would be the same.

    but shuckle has like no HP so all those hits would add up very quickly... i would pull out my DS to show off 1 of my pokes but im too lazy...

    edit: wrap and bind are...lol
    also: double as stated is banned cauz its very cheap and rips the fun out of the match and skarm would obliterate shuck even if it Double teams and w/ bright powder it would just PHaze u away...

    You obviously know NOTHING about why those clauses exist. they exist to make the game as skill-based as possible. for example, if it comes down to may Raikou vs. my foe's Rhydon and my raikou has HP grass, I'm going to win. UNLESS the rhydon has the hax item Quick claw, strikes first, and OHKOs Raikou with EQ.See, that user would have won due to luck instead of skill, which is why we clause that crap. Same goes for DT. It relies on luck. No skill at all.

    A shuckle without knock off kinda fails since that's all it can do, that and set up SR. And steels and gengar wall that horribly. But shuckle needs lefties.
