Okay, I want to start by saying this is a hack I am making for a school project, so any help is wanted. It is basically a hack of Fire Red to remake pokemon silver so I can demonstrate ROM hacking, but I am not very good at each point of it, so that is where I am requesting assistance from everyone. Please help me with this hack.

    Storyline:
Basically it is the same as Pokemon Silver. I am going to add an extra area (like the battle frontier in Emerald).

    Features:
    A return of Pokemon Silver
New Pokemon (for use in extra area name to be announced)
    Old maps returning

    Team:
    Scripters:
    Spriters:
    Mappers: Cartercr
    Other (please specify):

There is an extra descriptive tag on the other title though, so to say the name is already taken is kinda silly specially since they are both taking place at the time of silver, so one could say that this one is just another angle to sterling silver.

    just my opinion though

:) I understand that angle as well, and already though of that, just thought I would argue the point. Most color/metal/stone names have been thought of a thousand times, which is a good reason why one should try and stray away from them to begin with, or at least add a sub title to differentiate games and give them a more unique and distinctive title for the fans. Just an idea for you Cartercr

I don't think it really matters what the hack is called. It's not a professional. People are going to repeat names on hacks, that's just how things go.

That is because names in general are limited if you are going to name it after a metal, color or a stone :).

You could always make "Sterling Silver: Rise of..." or something to differentiate yours from the other, or as I said before just stick with Sterling Silver.

    just some input :)

Are you going to include both Johto and Kanto or just Johto?
