Pokemon: Storms on the Desert [PG 13]

Ellis takes the piece of paper, nodding as he reads the address. He assures Mr. Skor that he'll be on his way soon.

After the Miltank leaves, Ellis finishes gathering his supplies, packing his backpack with rations. He heads over to the merchant guild to speak to the landlord. "Hey, it's Ellis. I'm headed out to the desert on a job, so my place in the square will be open for a day or two. I'll let ya know when I get back."

With that taken care of, he buys a bottle from a beverage stall by the gates. "Alright, time to head on out." With that, he heads out into the desert.

Ari nodded and took the letter from the Swalot. "I'll have it there by sundown. Is there anything else I should know?" She slipped the letter into an outside pocket of her worn leather satchel. It was beginning to crack at the seams.

Oh whoops, sorry zapdos. But is your char part of the same guild as Lilliana, or just more of a contract assassin?

Ah, okay. I was just wondering as it interested me how you also chose assassin. Well then, you're accepted. So now there is one SU spot left.

That last post wasn't the complete SU, I just had it up here for it to be a start. I'll take it outta there and move it into here.

Pokemon Species: Cubchoo (the new Ice-Bear thing)
Name: Mellock Arthur Ahlieas
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Appearance: He has a small silk silver scarf that he wraps either around his head to hide from authorities or around his neck just to wear it. It is embedded with small amethysts.
Occupation: Theif/Wanderer. He doesn't mind taking from noblemen, and those are his primary targets. But sometimes he'll have to steal from a commoner or a poor Pokemon. He'll starve a lot of those nights.
Personality: Mellock is, at heart, a happy Pokemon. He loves company, although he doesn't get much of it because of what he does. He is very generous and would give to another wanderer if he had anything to give. And he wouldn't hurt anyone; that is, unless he needed to. He hates stealing, needless to say, but it's necessary for the life his parents left him with. But Mellock isn't perfect. He has some bad qualities. He's impatient, can't wait for anything, and he has a quick temper, turning from relatively positive to absolutely negative just like that. He, despite the life of theivery he has to live with, is very picky whenever he is faced with a choice. And, along with everything else, he's envious of people that heve more than him and is angry at those who either expect everyone else to have what they have or flaunt it. That about wraps him up and puts a little bow on 'im.
History: Mellock was born and raised on the banks of various rivers in Jezera, and, as his final permanent home, on the shores of Jezero Lake. He learned to defend himself young, and his parents were supporting. And he was and is very close to his little brother, Thomas, whom is seven years younger. He was looked upon as a role model by Thomas and various other small boys that lived around them, some numerous times. He loved his family and it was always his top priority.
When he was ten, Thomas three, they (they being Thomas and Mellock) were playing on the bank of a narrow, deep river during a crisp autumn evening, and Thomas fell into the river. He was the baby of his family and had not been taught how to swim yet (bad parenting, I tells ya), so he was sinking. Mellock, being the only one around, fisr screamed for help, then, seeing that wouldn't work, jumped in after him. He swam underneath Thomas, caught him, and pulled him back up by the scruff of his neck. Everyone said that that day Thomas Doyle Ahlieas's life had been saved, but Mellock did not accept any praise.
four years after, on that same day, their parents gambled away all of their money. The shores of Jezero Lake weren't so friendly after that. The family had to beg, and after the first month, Mellock and Thomas couldn't take it, and they ran. Mellock and Thomas were fourteen and seven, respectively, that day. Three years passed, and Thomas never had accepted the life of theivery, and had finally snapped by running away, and fending for himself. A boy of ten, alone, and a boy of seventeen, alone. Mellock Arthur Ahlieas was truly alone.
And is to this day.
He was so sad after that, that he didn't care where he was going. His next few theiveries were just to go into the house, take what he wanted and not care who he hurt. but, eventually, he got over it and started developing a plan. He would chain through the richest cities, but stop in a small town every so often to keep the authorities guessing. And his first hit was going to be to Hranc, a large trading city by the border of Zene and his home country, Jezera. And there were to be some good hits there.

And that is my full SU. So YAY!

Wailmer, although it sort of speaks for itself, you need to detail how you are in Hranc. But, more importantly, there are other things you must detail because of your occupation choice. Since you are a thief, do you take from the merchants on the road, or in the city itself? Are you part of a thieve's gang inside or outside the city, or a lone thief? And do you take jobs from people, if so, what kind.

I know that I'm asking you more than I did others, but I feel it is necessary in this situation.

Charline Karikon

"Nothing you don't already know." she said with a smile.

"Well then, Ari, you should start to get going now." Aaron said.

Hranc Desert

(This part mainly describes only the part Godzil is currently in.)

This is just another part of the Sea if Sand. It is sectioned off into small districts, which are normally named after any major city that occupies it. But often it has nicknames. This one is dubbed as the "Merchant's Sand Lot" as it is home to many of the common trading routes. To the more cynical, and those less active in the trading industry, it is called the "Thieve's Desert" thanks to the many wrongdoers that base themselves in the area.

In the area where the retrieval specialist, Ellis Burton, was, there was one of the main roads. It had a few smaller roads branching off some ways out, much like a main river and its tributaries. The spot wasn't an incredible distance away, but still could take more than the rest of the day to get there if luck and haste wasn't with the Tyrouge.

Although the main road was safe for a distance, with guards always at the front gate, and occasional watchtowers, it was dangerous once you were a few miles from the last tower. Most every bandit, rouge, thief, renegade, or otherwise lie just beyond the reach of the city. And unfortunately, the spot was beyond the point of Hranc's watch.

Ari nodded briskly and readjusted her satchel. "I'll be back by sun-up tomorrow morning." She nodded slightly to Aaron before setting off, the ears of her mask flapping behind her.

Wailmer, you're accepted.

And with that, SU's are now closed.

Mika Emaritz

Mika awoke later and walked outside her room. It didn't take long for her to find Fiona. She was well-rested and eager to begin.

"Shall we begin?" she asked.

Raclin Farnen

A Ryhorn with a chipped horn was walking at an rather fast pace. (non controllable NPC) He was a messenger, and had just gotten into town. He had been travelling for quite awhile, and was growing tired. But there was no time to rest, he had an important message.

He was searching for someone, a Seviper by the name of Bryce DaggerTail. And he knew where he was supposed to be, and that's where the Ryhorn was heading. Once he got to the area he began calling out for him.

After retrieving his sword and doing a little bit of shopping, Althalos returned to the Shrouded Swalot. He ordered a small meal and looked around while waiting for it. There were a large variety of pokemon in the main dining room. A Girafarig attempting to sit on a stool in the corner made him laugh for a moment. He continued scanning the room. There were at least two of every type of pokemon, and then some.
"I might stay her a while, its quite nice, and there are sure to be a lot of contracts due to the amount of people." Althalos thought to himself as the food came.

Fiona nodded slightly when Mika walked up to her "Lets. we're starting at the south of the city and circling it to the east. The base is probably located close to the town maybe going under it so they can tap into the cities power. Finding the entrance will be the hard part" she said as they started out.

Bree Lerass

An Electabuzz sat in a table in the corner of the Shrouded Swalot. (non controllable NPC) She was sitting lazily, with her legs crossed on top of the table, her tail dangling off to the side. She saw a black-backed Cyndaquil. She rose from her chair and walked to it.

"Did you do it?" she asked once she approached the Cyndaquil assassin.

Hranc Desert

(This details the part Lilliana is currently in)

This part of the desert had less road, but still a good amount. The southern main gate was another main entrance, however, so there was a fair amount of watchtowers. Once again, most thieves made their hideouts right outside the city's reach.

Fiona looked up at the watch towers seeing the amount of guards "We have to be careful. This isn't the place for an assassin to be caught" she whispered to Mika as they ran swiftly out of range of the guard towers. I know from past experiences that the guards can't stand assassins she thought. "Lets start here. If you find anything that looks odd or out of place let me know" Fiona said beginning to search around the area.

Althalos was surprised when the Electabuzz walked up to him. She wasnt supposed to be here.
"did you do it"she asked. It took Althalos a moment to respond.
"Yes. There was a little bit of civilian collateral, but he's dead. My payment, please." It was more of an order, not a question.

Bree Lerass

She smiled and pulled out a pouch of money, dropping it on the table in front of him.

"Good." she said, "Then our work here is done." she continued, leaving him alone once more.

Mika Emaritz

She began searching as instructed. She couldn't say that she did find anything abnormal. As far as eye could see there was nothing but sand. Sand, sand, and more sand. For her, the most interesting thing she found was a pebble. She had a feeling the two weren't going to find anything tonight. And they would have to be get back before the day, less the guards discover them. She was optimistic on Gramon and Thom's findings, however.

Hranc Desert (East)

(Since you never specified, Godzil, I'm just going to say that you are in the eastern part from Hranc.)

The lone Tyrouge began to dig in the sand. This struck the interest of an unseen spy. He crept from his hiding spot, revealing that it was a Mankey.

"What ye think ye be doin'?" the Mankey asked frustratingly, approaching the retrieval specialist. "Tis' our lot o' sand!" he declared, now standing a few feet away.

Althalos counted the coins, making sure that all 50 were there. They were. he finished eating and paid with part of his newly received money. He left, looking for another contract.
