Pokemon: Storms on the Desert [PG 13]

"Well, I didn't--don't--really have a plan...maybe I can just start fresh. But then...I want my brother back." He had figured it out. If he was going to stop his life of thievery, the first thing he would do would be to find his little brother. "Thank you for everything, Montolio. Especially for saving me. But I have to be leaving." Mellock walked around, found the exit, and clambered out. He looked around and saw, to the east, a pinkish-brown bipedal figure. It looked like...he hid the things he stole from the box on the street and walked over. "Hello. I'm lost and need directions. Can you help? I'm headed to Jezeno Lake. It's been so long since I've been home, I forget where it is!"

Fiona smiled to herself it seems that whatever they were bargaining over went over peacefully. Still nothing D**n how good did this guy hide his base she thought they had been searching for hours and still had no progress in finding the entrance.

"Termon huh? I can get you there for about... 20 gold I think it's worth" Cazor replied. "Give me the money now, then hop on. Don't worry, you can trust me not to run away" He reassured them. Even though it wasn't any of his business, Cazor had become slightly more suspicious of the pair because they were shrouded and just wanted to reassure them. After all, he wasn't good at fighting and wanted to avoid any possible threat they might impose on him. "Besides," He added "I'm pulling around a caravan, I'm hardly gonna run away when you give me the money. You'd catch me in no time." He waited for the money to be handed over.

(OOC: Sorry for not posting in so long, lots of stuff has been going on.)

Surina Terquez

Surina produced a bag and counted out coins. Taking note that Cazor didn't have hands, she took out a second bag and placed the coins in it. She proceeded to hand the bag over to him.

Mika Emaritz

Mika glanced over the horizon, then to Fiona.

"I think we should be going, I'm sure that Thom and Gramon will have useful information by tomorrow." she said.

Durrin

A Sentrent quickly looked from side to side. The Sentrent was looking for a Riolu that he was told should be approaching the store. In due time, the swift Sentrent caught sight of the Pokemon. With all swiftness and grace, he darted to the Riolu.

"How may I help you?" he offered as he met her.

Dimitri Runetrun

The street side thief though he could have made a quick profit on the passing Cyndaquil. Little did he know of his combat experience. And now, he was cornered. His eyes widened at the ferocity in his voice, the hostility in his eyes. He couldn't get the words out of his mouth, he was gasping for breath and nearly hiccuping from too much air intake.

"He. I. I don't." the words came out in exhales, and were scattered. "All I know is that he resides outside of town. That way!" he exclaimed, pointing in the direction of the hidden shack.

Home of Skor Reinchan
(For Godzil)

The moon was rising in the distance as the specialist approached the home of Skor. It was small, but homely. It didn't really stand out too much from the outside, but through the windows, the interior was bright and lively.

Hranc Desert (East)
(For Wailmer)

The Mankey began walking back to his hideout, he was eager to tell his companions about the obscene amount of money he made for that seemingly worthless necklace. That was when a voice called out to him.

Turning, he said "How am I 'posed to know the way to that lake? Jus' go south and away from me an' me territory!" he demanded.

Fiona nodded "I agree, we should be getting back. Hopefully they have a lead that could help us" she said as they started quietly back towards the city careful not to be caught by any guards.

Ellis stands in front of the house, glad not to have run into any more problems. He looks at the brightly lit room, appreciating the glow. "Man, even a small house like this is sure to be rich. Just look at that light. I bet its warm, too. Man that looks nice." He knocks on the door and calls out. "Yo, Mr. Miltank? It's me, Ellis. From earlier?"

Ari nodded briskly to the Sentret. "I come from Hranc with an order from Charline Karikon." She wiped a sheet of sweat from her forehead, the sun temporarily blinding her. She rustled around in her bag again, producing the envelope. "Here you are." Holding the letter out to the Sentret, she blew up at her forehead, attempting in vain to cool off.

Althalos Dropped the thief with a sarcastic thank you. He left one gold coin with the pokemon and went in the direction the thief pointed him in. He took his time, and even paused to shop some. He spent the night at another inn and decided to continue proceeding onward tomorrow.
-----
Althalos finally made it to the edge of the city. He looked around and saw nothing. A small desert wind though, kicked up some sand which seemed to reveal to his trained eyes, a wooden floor panel.
"How odd." Althalos said sarcastically. He breathed a long, hot jet of flame onto the wood, incinerating the wood as well as turning some of the surrounding sand to glass. The room inside was on fire and smoking. He crawled down a ladder and listened, hoping for a cough or sharp breathing, or even better, the silence of money from having the thief's head.

(OOC: Guys, I'm really sorry that I couldn't post in so long. I had tests. If anyone is still here, I plan to get back to a regular daily posting schedule.)

Skor Reinchan

The Miltank cautiously opened the door. Once he saw who it was, the door opened wider. The Miltank was alone, and looked rather drowsy.

"Oh, hello Ellis." greeted the Miltank.

"So then, how went your task?" Skor inquired through a yawn.

Durrin

The Sentrent gazed at the paper. Its quick, darting eyes revealed that it was quickly skimming the material. It abruptly shot its head back up, eyes focused on the messenger in front of it.

"So then, Charline's in need of supplies? And your the one picking 'em up? Very well, come with me." the Sentrent offered, quickly turning and scurrying away in its swift and graceful wave-like movement style.

Montolio Dremugar

As soon as Montolio knew what was going on, he exited the building with blinding speed. When he exited the hole with a large vertical jump, he saw the root of his problem. He landed on the opposite side from his new opponent.

"Haven't you ever learned your manners?" he scolded.

"Don't you know that you should at least knock before you burn someone's house down? Someone could have been hurt." he said in his customary, mocking, teasing tone.

"Oh indeed. How silly of my to forget to knock." Althalos shot back with as much sarcasm as the pokemon in front of him. "Its also not very polite to at least try to die when some one tries to catch you on fire, you silly bug." Althalos let his back flare and he launched the largest fire ball as he could at the pokemon. It was large enough to consume a small house and he was sure that the bug pokemon would at least be wounded.
