Pokemon Sun/Moon and Magearna film dub to air on Disney XD

Actually, Disney's 65 episode limit as a strict rule hasn't been in effect in 2005. Only one show has ended at exactly 65 episodes since (ANT Farm). However, even when it was a rule, there were several shows that went longer. Disney does have a four season limit though, but I doubt they're gonna spend more than four seasons in Alola.

EDIT- My provider's program guide goes up to December 5 now and it has the Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel movie airing at 5pm, and then "Disney XD Special" at 7 and 7:30 which I'm assuming will be the first two Sun and Moon episodes because it doesn't say Pokemon anywhere else that day.

I know this thread is a little old, but I was looking at my provider's program guide and it has new episodes of XYZ on Cartoon Network this and next Saturday. The reruns on Boomerang are continuing also for now. I'm guessing their rights for the show extends to the end of XYZ and the reruns on Boomerang will continue until this deal ends or Disney XD starts showing them unless they just decide to stop showing them.
 
I doubt they are going to cancel it. They showed Naruto for almost 100 episodes before they decided to drop it on Disney XD and I think that was only because it wasn't doing to well or they were trying something. But it did end with 4 seasons.

As for Sun and Moon, it probably will not officially start until the new year. I don't think Disney is going to drop a heavy hitter like Pokemon because it goes over a certain amount of episodes. Then again, I am not sure exactly what yall are talking about because I have never had a problem with Disney here as far as I know.

I am just glad Disney actually showed the credits and the ending of the damn movie for once. CN always fastforwarded through all of that and it has always annoyed me.

I also do not think we will go over 4 seasons in Sun and Moon. Having so many in Sinnoh almost killed the show for me at least.

I am not sure how they could get 4 seasons in. I don't think there is enough content to justify 4 seasons.
 
Since the past two regions (Unova and Kalos) both had only three dub seasons I presume this will also be the case with Sun & Moon. This will likely make Alola another 140 episode total saga, following BW's 142 episodes and XYZ's 140.
