A lame name, I know, but the only one I can think of at the time!

Anyway, this thread is about an idea I got from just randomly thinking about things. I adore ZeL's Shiny Gold hack, and that got me into the idea of hacking. Now, I really have no experience of programming or hacking beyond a summer camp, so I am not really making this into a hack. If you like the idea, though, you can use it and also ask me for some plot devices, etc.

Really, I just wanted to give a contribution to hacking, since I like it so much but have little to no hacking skill!

    The Idea:

Have you ever played Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga? I call it one of the better RPGs of all time, and was a sleeper hit in... probably 2005. Anyway, I think with a little twisting around here and there, the whole game could one way or another be turned into a pokemon game.

Now, I know what you probably are thinking. What a crazy idea! Mario and Pokemon don't mix! Yeah, that is most likely correct. However, using the RPG elements, the storyline, and map from Superstar Saga, there actually might be a good game.

Think about it. You start off in the Mushroom Kingdom, where you choose either Mario or Luigi to control (the other character becomes your "rival). They get a pokemon (undecided at the point) and go to the Beanbean Kingdom to restore Princess Peach's voice from Cackletta. We could even make boss battles into gym battles, and change the battle system to incorporate the Bros. Moves and more! The story of Superstar Saga is pretty in detail, but we could tweak it to make it fresh. Heck, we could throw in maybe even Team Rocket, or whatever.

To get to the point, though, I think with this core idea, a good original game could come out of this! Who knows, this could really be a horrible idea! I just wanted to put my idea out there.

    Random Ideas:

-Fawful (the Accomplice of Cackletta) could have a team based around the move Rage, as his trademark line is "I have fury!"

-Bros Attacks could be incorperated, but I'm really unsure how.

Anyway, if you like the idea (or even if you hate the idea) please post your thoughts, concerns, and maybe we can even get a project started, if I'm lucky.

People are not going to just make hacks for you, you have to be working on it also.

i belive that would be cool and fun but that would be veryhard to do...

Soooo r u planning to start this hack? Or r u askin who would take this idea into consideration?

...You can read tutorials to figure out how to hack you know. Otherwise, you are not going to be able to get a team together and do that whole hack for you. You gotta work on it to ya know.

...Are you hacking Superstar Saga or Pokemon?
Either would be dead hard to make any of this happen.
Heck, if that's a random idea, go make a Game!

Still, you need to hack yourself.

I don't know if there are any hacking tools for Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. D:
By the way this thread's going, it could be locked. :x
