6th Gen Pokemon team building help

    This is just in general but I am just having a bit of trouble building my Kalos team. I usually play throug the game with just cool or stronk pokemon. But lately since online connections have been sped up I would like to build a fairly good team for battling. I don't mind training a lot so I could go back a bit in the game to catch some pokemon. I also find super training fun so I don't mind that either. I would prefer to just get help with this for future games and not just a list of good pokemon.
    Any help is appreciated!
