Pokemon - The Haunted Island

"Yeah, let's. Come on guys back in your pokeballs for now." Aerion pulled out four pokeballs and returned them all. Clipping her pokeballs back on her belt she ran to catch up to Kaine. "and what was that about me not enjoying this. Ha I'm gonna have a blast just watch!" She grinned a little. Though she thought this on the outside she was pretty nervous about being on a haunted island. I never did warm up to ghost pokemon. Well Dream was an exception but man....I'm gonna make a total fool outta myself I just know it. Sighing heavily she walked beside Kaine in silence, trying her best to keep on her cool and calm expression, she wasn't about to chicken out, not when they already made it to the island.
 
"No worries, I love ghost pokemon, i'll look after you" I tease, and release shadow.
"Hey shadow looks like we're here, and you're the one who wanted to come, so you had better see this..." I say pointing at one of the mountain tops of the island.
The island itself was covered in forest, but the trees were dead, and then there was the house that you could barely see from the boat, but it seemed to be in the centre of the island, and going further back there where mountains, which were covered in cave entrances.
"Well looks like we all have our work cut out for us, we'll have to be careful." I say nervously, and heatedly.
The island was warm, but why?...
 
Aerion stuck out her tongue playfully and gazed at the mountain tops where Kaine was pointing. "Um...aside from the dead trees and the spooky house which I caught a glimpse of on the ship...this place isn't bad. But I agree we should be careful. I don't need any more prank pulling ghosts like Dream." She folded her arms across her chest and nodded. Her optimistic side taking over yet again. "It's awfully warm though for an island. I mean minutes ago it was cold on the ship....ok this is sorta freaky." She mumbled the last part to herself. "So...uh, where are the cabins?" Please don't say the spooky house, please don't say the spooky house, please don't say the spooky house. Pleeeeeeeeeeease don't say it! Blinking a little it was pretty evident that Aerion was starting to panic a little.
 
"Well, we're supposed to stay in that mansion house thingy, or near it at least." I say blankly, it was evident Shadow was enjoying where he was, he dissapeared, and re-appeared scaring the crew memebers, so I took him forcefully off the boat, and made my way to the entrance of the forest, and stopped.
"Hey do you guys hear that? that growling noise?" I ask, as a leathery wolf like creature, pounces out at shadow.
The creature lands on me, knocking me out...
 
((Someone mind being the Kairi? -_-; ))

Aerion gasped as she ran to Kaine's side. "Kaine!" She noticed that he was knocked unconcious. "That wasn't very nice ya know!" Narrowing her eyes she pulled out a pokeball and threw it in the air. "Come on out Dream and teach this pokemon some respect!" She yelled. Dream floated by Aerion side and glared at the pokemon. "Dream use hypnosis on it!" Maybe I could catch it, I've never seen this type of pokemon before. Dream sent out many hypnotic waves toward the pokemon. "Let's hope it hits..." She whispered to herself.
 
((I guess I will seens how i'm unconcious :)))

THe wolf pokemon dodged the hypnosis waves, and charged at Dream with it's teeth bared.
It splits into 3 of the same pokemon, and begines to run around Dream, trying to confuse her, while one of the pokemon begins to dig, the other two get faster and faster, trying to keep Dreams attention away from the real one.
 
Daniel smiled as Sorah left

"she sure is something...but this ash..I look like him...and I saw him...in my dream.....what does it mean...." sighed Daniel

He walked towards the ship and rose to his fett and smiled

"only time will tell" he smiled
 
"Hm...double team huh? Dream, use swift to get rid of the two illusions." Aerion looked around trying to spot the third one. As Dream used swift the two fakes disappeared leaving an empty field. "Hm...this is intresting, it used Double Team as a means of distraction. Where could it be..." Looking around Aerion saw a hole. "Dig! It used dig. Darn, it can come up from anywhere. Dream keep your eyes peeled." She yelled up to her pokemon. What's it's plan? Biting her lip she looked around for any signs of the pokemon.
 
((you might have seen this before))

The wolf pokemon dug up no where near dream, but dove back into the ground, and it did the same again getting closer, and closer, and closer, but then it went further away, and came up at random.
Then it used double team underground, and they copied the original's movements perfectly, but only one left a hole where it emerged from underneath the ground.
It then went to come up from the ground under dream directly.
But would it hit?

((oh you guys i forgot to mention, there are normal ghost and dark pokemon on the island as well as the new ones :embarrass))

Aerion noticed the ground beneath Dream being pulled apart. "Dream! Quickly dodge!" She yelled. Dream looked down and saw the pokemon coming directly at her, not moving fast enough cause Dream to get hit, fortunately it wasn't serious. "You ok girl?" She asked a hint of worry in her voice. Dream nodded and shook her head from the damage she recieved. Sighing in relief she called out her next command. "Use psybeam and follow it up with a hypnosis." Multi-coloured lights shot out of Dream mouth and towards her opponent, as soon as the attack finished she sent out many hypnotic waves. Oh c'mon, if I can just get it to fall asleep.
 
((You're lucky Kiki, cause Kairi's special move isn't early bird :P))

The wolf pokemon took the multi-coloured beam on full hit, but it didn't effect the pokemon badly, but it delayed it's reflexes as the hypnosis wave hit it, and it fell into a sleeping position.
The unfortunate thing for Dream was that Kairi the dark wolf pokemon knows the moves snore, and sleep talk, but it had to wait till dream finished her move to use them.
Kairi's special ability came into effect aswell, it's called suffering health, It regains a little bit of health for every turn that passes while it's effected by status problems.
((a bit like leftovers, the health isn't much :P))
 
Aerion grinned. "Now's my chance." Taking out an empty pokeball she threw it at the sleeping pokemon. "C'mon! Stop moving." Aerion eyed the pokeball anxiously awaiting to see if her catch was successful. Dream hovered near the pokeball keeping her guard up just in case, the pokeball release the wolf pokemon.
 
((What kind of ball is it? shall I go for a great ball?))

The ball suddenly turned black, and stopped moving, the wolf pokemon was caught, but the ball would never be the same again.

Over by the entrance to the woods, I sat up rubbing my head, and Shadow came over to comfort me.
"Yeah Shadow I'm ok, where did that pokemon go?" I ask shadow, who points over at the black pokeball near Dream.
"Ah well done Aerion, looks like you caught a new pokemon, good on you" I say getting up, and petting dream a little, and I move over to Aerion, patting her on the back for her job well done.
"Looks as if we'll have to be on constant guard eh?" I say jokingly.
I for the moment felt ok...

Aerion grinned a little. "Well I'm glad to see you're ok Kaine. I was worried there." She walked over and picked up the black pokeball. "Well this is odd. The ball suddenly turned black. I wonder if it's because of the pokemon's power...ah oh well it can't be that bad, I hope." She laughed a little. "Way to go Dream, I knew I could count on you!" Patting the ghost pokemon on the head she released the pokemon from it's pokeball. "I guess I should make sure it's alright." Taking out an awakening she used it on the wolf pokemon. opening it's eyes slightly it jumped back when it saw Aerion. "Hey don't worry, I'm not gonna hurt ya. Let's be friends ok?" Aerion tilted her head a little and smiled warmly at the pokemon. "I'm Aerion by the way, and this is Dream. That's Kaine and his pokemon Shadow." The pokemon nodded a little. "Well you need a name, I can't call you it all the time, or she i'm pretty sure you're a female. Hm.... Hey Kaine got any good names in mind?" She asked standing up and turning her attention to her friend. ((Haunty pick any random name, I can't think of any at the moment lol :P ))
 
"How about Wolfbane? or dark-tooth?" I say excitedly,
What a pokemon, it looks so strong, I wonder if it could beat Shadow,it looks pretty fit for a pokemon.
"Hey Aerion, do you want to finish off that battle your new pokemon against my Shadow?" I ask excitedly, I really wanted to see this pokemon in action, and plus now I could try out shadow's full power.
(mind conversation with Shadow)You really think you can beat her? you like her don't you?
erm no
I'm not stupid Kaine, and I could beat that pokemon, I know what it is, and I have an advantage over it, and it over me, unfortunately
OK, ok Shadow, lets just see what she say's ok?
Fine.
"So what do you say Aerion?" I ask, a little adamantly.
 
"Well to answer your first question, I like Wolfbane, that ok with you?" Aerion looked down at the wolf pokemon. She nodded a little. "Alrighty then Wolfbane it is! Now to answer your second question...sure why not, I'm curious to see Wolfbane's attacks!" Aerion grinned happily. Walfbane stood looked at Shadow with a challenging look. I wonder how strong Wolfbane is... Aerion looked down at her new pokemon with admiration.
"I hope you don't mind if I start things off. Wolfbane use..." Remembering her fight with the wolf pokemon just minutes ago, she decided to try out the same strategy with Shadow and Kaine. "...double team and follow it up with dig!" Let's see if Wolfbane understands my strategy, more than likely Kaine will know it. She took this chance to see how well both Wolfbane and herself work together. To Wolfbane and I this will be a test of loyalty and trust.
 
"Hmmm as always, they do say ladies first" I smile teasingly, not knowing exactly what to do in retaliation to dig, I give it some thinking time, and decide
"Shadow use storm and follow it up with double team" I yell, and shadow nods, and begins to meditate, well sort of, it's more like it's summoning power, and as it summons power, clouds start to cover the full moon, and lightening strikes down on the ground close to Shadow, and Kaine, but it doesn't hit.((as it is a light type >.<))
And then shadow splits into 6 carbon copies of himself.
"Now lets see what you have Aerion" I say adamantly.
 
Aerion tapped her chin with her index finger a few times, thinking of a good attack to use. "Hm....what can I use..." she thought outloud. Just as Wolfbane broke through the earth right beneath one of the six Shadows, Aerion snaps her fingers. "I got it! Wolfbane use faint attack, try to get rid of as many clones as possible." She yelled. Wolfbane did as she was told, hitting as many of the clones as she could Aerion only hoped that one of those clones would be the real one. Wolfbane's copies are just to throw Shadow and Kaine off, but they're trying to do the same. I just hope it works. Aerion watched as Wolfbane carried out her plan hope and anticipation twinkled in her eyes.
 
"Go Shadow now, just as we planned" I yell aloud

Flashback: "OK shadow ready?" I ask hurridely, Shadow nods
"OK shade do your thing" I wink at Shade, who breaks into 8 copies, and sends a dark orb at Shadow, who dissapears, and re-appears behind shade, usinf Light beam.
"Yeah that's it. Hey Shadow you got anymore moves like that?" I ask, but shadow just shrugs.
"Well you have wings can you use flying type moves?" I ask, a bit down. Shadow shakes his head, showing that his winds are pretty work, barely any feathers in them, and explains they are just for keeping off the ground.
"Well what about the halo attack?" I ask a little hapier than last time, and Shadow begins to think.
We form a plan, that includes the halo attack and confusing the opponent, both I and Shadow are happy with the plan.

Present: "Go shadow now!" I yell as wolfbane defeats the last clone, and Shadow dissapears, and re-appears behinf wolfbane, letting loose a large force of energy on wolfsbane.
I hoped it hit...
 
Aerion's hand flew to her mouth to stop her gasp from escaping her lips. Wolfbane looked around wildly as she got hit from the back. Falling to the ground with a thud Aerion fought back the urge of running over to Wolfbane's side. "Hey Wolfbane, you alright?" She yelled to her pokemon. Wolfbane stood up and shook the attack off her coat, she looked at Aerion and nodded. "That's a relief. You caught us off guard there Kaine!" She comments looking over at her opponent. what are some attacks I can use with Wolfbane, since we've just met I have a disadvantage of not knowing Wolfbane's attacks and stats very well, but I never let that pull me down. She's sorta like Dark so I take it she has the same type of attacks...well thinking about it all day won't get us anywhere. Releaving herself from thinking to much she dropped her gaze to Wolfbane.
"Hey Wolfbane can you use slash?" Wolfbane gives Aerion a somewhat sarcastic look as she raises one of her paws showing her claws (rhyme not intended -_-; ). "Ok, ok just checking, so maybe I can make this work." Grinning a little she waves Wolfbane to turn her attention back at her opponent. "Alrighty, Wolfbane use slash and follow it up with Night Shade! This has to work....I hope." Wolfbane gave Aerion a surprised look but nonetheless she ran up to Shadow and attmpted to slash him, quickly following it up with a dark aura that surrounded Shadow. The question lingering in the air was, did it hit?
