Professor Samuel Oak's Journal pg 56 entry 1
"Life the great miracle and the great mystery, since the begining humans and pokemon alike have searched for it's meaning, many strange and wondrous legends have evolved from the pursuit of life's mysteries."
Let's begin shall we, Pokemon has given us legends, tales and clues about pokemon's origins.
-First prehistoric pokemon such as Aerodactyl, Kabuto, Kabutops, and Omanyte and Omastar.
But some say that the mew species was the first pokemon.
-I predict there was some kind of mass extinction because it seems as though the pokemon species goes from prehistoric rock based pokemon to more variaty of pokemon and types, well based on the findings so far.
Here is a story I have constructed about Pokemon's origins
Earth, an infant earth with an oxygen ratio well over what it is today.
A colony of Mew roam the earth, when some of the Mews gets board have fun making the first three pokemon out some rock a small shellfish like pokemon named Kabuto, a pokemon with a spiral shell named Omanyte, and last a large headed winged predator pokemon to keep the population in balance named Aerodactyl. This is why all of these prehistoric pokemon have a type of rock.
After a few years of getting hunted by Aerodactyl without any way to fight back evolved the ability to evolve to change their shape and better protect themselves from danger or even fight back. The Kabutos evolved into Kabutops, and Omanyte evolves into Omastar. This explains why Aerodactyl has no evolution but Kabuto Omanyte do
Lets flash forward about 100,000,000 years, the sun rises on when seem like is the perfect day, a group of Kabuto eggs hatch and the baby Kabutos are headed for the sea. There is an Aerodactyl watching the eggs hatch and preparing to strike. When out of the corner of the Aerodactyl's eye it sees a bright light, looks up and doesn't know what to make of it. The meteor strikes with such ferocity and force that it throws up tons and tons of rock and earth into the air blocking out the sun. The Mew however being able to use their psychic abilities to know what was going to happen and find cover. With the sun blacked out the vegitation that the Kabutos and Omanyte eat die out therefore the Kabutos and Omanyte some die from starvation, some head back into the water for shelter, with the Aerodactyl unable to find sustenance it to dies out from starvation.
flash forward about another 100,000,000 Human beings have developed writing, the Mews spying on the humans look at the writing. They look at the stone carving of letters and make them alive. The Mew didn't think what would happen. The Unown as in "unknown letters."
The unown run around the world creating random pokemon everywhere, They create their first pokemon a Rydon, then try to create more they create a Ryhorn to evolve into the Rydon. They create Their first pokemon, we call these pokemon legendaries. They create three elemental pokemon like Zapdos, Moltres, Articuno, and a bigger bird pokemon to watch over them Lugia, then they create Ho-oh, and from Ho-oh spawned three elemental dogs Suicune a creature that can ride the wind a prufiy water, Raikou a creature that appears wherever thunderstorms are and Entei a creature of volcanos.
When the unown are done creating all the pokemon they can think of they instead cause mischeif around the world, Mew being aware what is happened decide to send the unown to there own dimension a region I have dubs the Unknown dimension. In this dimension the Unown develope a very timid and careful character, Unown do not want to go out to the external world. Unown have the power to perceive the feelings of other creatures (including human beings). Unown communicate with each other over electromagnetic waves but cannot use telepathy. Given all this, Unown are still classified as a species of Pokémon, as opposed to any other sort of creature.
