Pokemon: The Shadow Zone and the Twilight Diaries

OOC: I knew that would work!

IC: Terra was up in the trees not to far away.
She hadn't thought much of it earlier, but that last fire ball did do some damage.
She hadn't been able to avoid it compleately, so she got injured on her shoulder.
Terra came down from the tree and staggered back to where Toren was holding her shoulder in pain.

Toren laid there in pain, glancing up when he noticed that Terra was standing beside of him, holding her shoulder. It looked to be burnt, and she had her hand on it in pain.

"Ugh, did I do that? I-I'm so sorry.."

He muttered quietly, closing his eyes and wincing again. He was in pain as well, but to know that he had done that to her made him feel really bad.
 
Terra nodded her head silently.
She sank to her knees and let go of her shoulder revealing a long burn mark that ran down farther than her shoulder.
Terra unwrapped the bandages and pulled out a jar of herbs.
"This won't heal it, but it will take away most of the pain."
She said and put some of the herbs on gently.
Terra then retied the bandages and stood up grasping her shoulder again.
 
"Oh, t-thank you. I still can't believe what I did..."

He said softly, a lot of the pain slowly disappearing from the two cuts on his arm. He leaned up gently and remained sitting on the ground, twisting his head and glancing up at the burn mark on Terra's arm.

"Shouldn't you be using some of that stuff on yourself? I think your injuries should come before mine.."

He said, squinting. Most of the pain from the two cuts had disappeared, but just a little bit remained, enough to make him wish it all had never happened.
 
"No. Yours were moe important to use it on and mine is far to big for any of my herbs."
Terra said watching Shadow carefully.
Shadow walked over to Toren and yelled at him in pokemon launguage.
{Now who is pathetic!?}
He yelled angerly.
"Shadow calm down he didn't mean it."
Terra said bitterly.
Shadow jumped at her tone of voice.

Toren jumped in surprise when he noticed that Shadow had appeared before him and started to yell. He couldn't undertstand what the Pokemon was saying, but it did sound angry.

"I'm sorry Shadow, did I do something wrong? I can't remember much, except for all the fire ball throwing.."

He scooted back a little bit, for Shadow didn't look as if he was going to let off. When Terra told him that he didn't mean it, he backed off and jumped, sttling down. Toren then looked up at Terra with a curious look in his face.

"Did I do something to Shadow? I really don't remember. And, in any case, if those herbs won't work on you we need to hurry to the Pokemon Center in Skytower City..."
 
{Yes you did something to me! You called me pathetic, thought about killing me, and then shot fireballs at Terra not to mention that I was in her arms.}
Shadow yelled jumping up.
"Shadow!"
Terra said angerly.
Shadow jumped again and sat down.
"You called Shadow pathetic, thought about killing him, and threw fireballs at me while he was in my arms that's why he is mad."
Terra said to Toren.
"I'm fine really. We need to focus on our mission. Besides you wouldn't be able to get me to go into a building with people in it."
She said calmly.
 
"Well, would you mind telling Shadow that I, erm, couldn't really help it? I already have one Pokemon who dislikes me, I really don't want another..."

He said, his voice slowly regaining loudness(I dunno what to put :p) and getting regular again. Most of the pain disappeared and he slowly pulled himself to his feet. It did hurt a little, but he managed to do it.

"And, well...that not associating with other people thing IS going to be a problem. I know that it hurts because you were holding your shoulder. People don't do that unless they are in pain..."
 
"Shadow did you hear that?"
Terra said still angry at him.
Her eyes were slowley changing back to her natural deep sea blue color.
Shadow nodded.
"I'm used to pain like this."
Terra said to Toren.
 
"Oh, well, thank you..."

He said, slowly reaching his hand out and scratching Shadow behind his ears. Most cat and dog-like Pokemon really liked being petted and scratched, especially behind the ears, so he hoped to relax the mood once again by calming the Pokemon, even though it seemed to be relaxed already.

"Well, if you're sure...."

Toren said sadly, looking away and staring off into the trees. He was still a little rattled from being controlled and injured, but he tried to stay calm and peaceful.
 
At Toren's touch Shadow froze and fell over like a statue playfully.
Terra let out a small laugh at it.
"Well we should get going soon anyways."
She said pulling out a bottle of water and taking a sip.
 
"Yes, I guess we should.."

He said, snickering when he saw Shadow drop to the ground. He was about to bend to the ground and pet him again, but him had taken him long enough to get up from the ground, let along go back down there, and THEN, try to stand back up again after that. He just smiled happily at Shadow, glad that he wasn't mad anymore.

"As soon as AJ gets here we can leave.."
 
Shadow came back up like someone pressed the rewind button.
Terra let out a laugh then pulled out a second water bottle.
"You want some?"
She asked Toren.
 
"That would be nice.."

He took the water bottle and gently unscrewed the cap, then lifted it up to his mouth and took a nice, long swig of it. It was not very cold, but refreshing and very tasty.

"Thank you, it's good."

He said, smiling. he let out another laugh when he noticed how silly Shadow was acting. But then, his thoughts drifted back to Cyndaquil. He looked around the area, but Cyndaquil wasn't anywhere in sight. He was probably hiding in a bush or behind a tree, that's what Toren was thinking anyway.
 
"No problem."
Terra said looking around.
Shadow seemed to be shocked by something and ran off.
"He forgot he was playing tag with Cindaquil."
Terra said.
 
after gaining my composure ounce again I got up and streched
"Man fireball's how strange" I groaned
"but it is time to get going" I smirked running until I got to terra and toren
"what happened to you guy's" I asked smelling the fresh blood
 
Toren smiled as he saw Shadow run off to go play. Terra had mentioned something about Shadow and Cyndaquil playing tag together and Toren was glad that were having fun together. Toren then walked over to a rather large tree stump where a large tree must have stood, and then sat down gently, making sure that he didn't strain himself.

After sitting down, he grabbed his water bottle that he had set beside of him and took another large sip, the delicous look satifying his thirst. Toren remained relatively silent, trying to find something to say.
 
"Umm hey AJ. He burned me really bad and I cut both of his arms that's all."
Terra said turning her attention to AJ.
Shadow was running around calling Cindaquil's name.
Terra looked over at Toren.
"Sorry about cutting your arms. I had to do something to stop you."
 
" well if that's all... can we eat? follow me to my house" I said getting up
"It should be up the ridge" I mumbled
I started to think if the house was still standing
"I'ts the place I lived for 4 year's"
 
"It's no problem, I suppose there was nothing else you could so..."

He muttered, frowning. He didn't think it was the best thing that she could have done, even though he had been in great pain. She had been gracious enough to heal him, Toren thought.

He took another nice sip of his water, then looked on as Shadow finally disappeared into the trees. He was happy that everything worked out, even though it had to end with him and Terra getting hurt.

{Shadow! Where are you?!}

Cyndaquil called out, jumping through a bush and coming out on the other side. Once he went around a large tree, he finally saw the Eeeve coming towards him.

{oh, there you are. Ready to continue?}

He smiled, starting his legs up and disappearing into the forest.
