Pokemon to return?

    This thread is for the discussion of which Pokemon you either think or hope will return to any of the main character's parties. Just so everyone knows which pokemon are currently eligible for this:

    I personally would like to see Cacnea return to James and I believe that its actually the most likely to, as it has been stated that it was "in training", during a recent episode. unlike Ash's Primeape, who the writers shoved "into training" permanently because they realised that it didn't suit Ash at all. :P
     
    Arbok and Weezng maybe. IDK, maybe Ashs' totodile or cyndiquil.
     
    I really don't see much of a reason (or personally, a want) for many Pokemon to return.

    Take Ash, for example, and his collection of regional birds. Swellow and Staravia serve almost the exact same purpose: both flying, strong, fast battlers. Pidgeot TRIED to be that but rarely was. The only real unique one of the bunch was Noctowl, but his psychic abilities were rarely utilized.

    Butterfree might be my favorite Pokemon ever. But the character had little appeal outside of "Ash's first wild capture".

    TR main Pokemon usually are personality clones of previous ones, and the ones with unique personalities, like Wobbuffet and Mime Jr, are sidelined.
     
    Any of Ash's johto Pokemon, it's been a while since we've seen them in action.

    I would really want Totodile back.

    If it evolves into Feraligatr, that would be the end of any antagonist o.o,...But still :D.
     
    I like when charizard comes back im hoping for an Battle frontire or Sinnoh league battle for charizard soon but a pokemon that should come back is cacnea as a cacturne just so it wouldmake the fights wih team rocked a bit more intresting
     
    I want Charizard to come back to Ash because I want it to :P
     
    I'd like to see charizard back, of course. I also think it would be cool if jessie's lickitung came back and evolved into a lickilicky.
     
    I think the real tragedy is Pidgeot. Ash actually promised it that he would come back. I mean, if he'd said: "You're free now, goodbye" that would have been better. But the fact that he said he'd come back and still didn't makes him seem like a bit of a tool.
     
    I hope Ash will use a mix of old and new of his pokemon in the Sinnoh pokemon league but we can only hope...

    I want that too, since the other 2 fully evolved starters Ash has are dragon or dragon like and grass and fire. Gatr is also a johto pkmn (if the gs remakes do happen).
    But first they have too take buizel out.
     
    For Ash I want butterfree to come back, I would LOVE to see those two reunite...especially since it was the first pokemon he caught, and he cried when he had to send it free.

    For Brock, I want to see him with steelix, one of his best pokemon yet!

    for team rocket, I want cacnea to return being EVOLVED, that would be really neat! and the next one should be lickitung for Jessie, who would be EVOLVED as well, and she would be love stricken with it after finding it was hers...I want those to happen! yep yep...

    NOT CHARIZARD...ppl I think we kinda need a little change to that...it becomes old if he always depends on charizard and all...but seeing a cameo of it maybe would be nice or something...but hey these are just my thoughts!
     
    Come on seriously Licky Licky It would be very very very unbelivable if it came back it would be stupid it never should of been caught by jessie and that is that and im very sorry if i offfend any one with my post
     
    I think Ash needs to bring back a lot of his old Pokemon...especially the ones that didn't evolve :\ I mean I know they went for the whole "cute" look, but still...and Pidgeot too, 'cuz that was so sad! I mean he goes "I promise I'll come back" and then he just...leaves and never sees it again. I feel soooooo bad for it.

    To be fair, he said he'd come back once Pidgeot's job of protecting the flock is done. While it's very in-character for Ash to forget, it's also possible Pidgeot's job isn't done yet.
