Hello there my name is VireZ, and I thought I'd present my idea for a fangame (I already started with it but there's not much to show yet).
Please note that english is not my first language, therefore some mistakes in spelling, grammer etc. might occur.
The story is not set yet, so it might and will be changed until the first release.
This game is a RPG Maker XP project using Pokemon Essentials.
It's a project that I had in mind for a long time now, and I'm not sure how much time I can spend creating it in the near future, but I really enjoy it and that's most important for me.
Some help is always welcome, as I certainly need some :)
tl;dr lets get back to what this thread is about: The Game
The Talon region:

The beautiful Talon region, where society is quite different,
and life is more dangerous than in other regions.
The people are living in clans, that are lead by the clan leaders and their deputies.
Each clan also has a sage, that communicates with the ancestors, but trains strong Pokemon as well.
The clans all refer to a certain type, and the landscape of their territory is fitting,
which makes it a very varied region.
In the very center of the region is the Elder's Peak, a majestic mountain where the elder lives,
who not many people know much about.
This knowledge is mostly reserved by the sages of each clan, which share dreams with him every know and then.
The Story:

"War is the father and king of all", and the people in the Talon region, constantly fighting for their clan, where every tiny bit of advantage could mean the difference between victory and defeat, couldn't resist to try some dangerous things that would give them an edge over their opponents in one of these battles.
Your clan just suffered a terrible defeat, and your clan leader lost his life in the process,
so it's time for his deputy, who is no other than your father need to step up as the new leader.
As always, a new leader must visit the elder on the Elder's Peak and must be approved as the new leader there.
Travelling with him are your clan's sage and the new deputy, your father has to choose.
The chosen one is you, which surprises many,
because your older brother had many things suggesting he would become deputy.
Meeting the elder is an impressing event, but on your way back you discover the terrible result of one of these experiments the clans do, and to make things even worse, the results of a succesful one:
The gate to another dimension has been opened
More things will get added/changed over time and I'm trying to improve on the story as much as possible. Any feedback regarding the story (or anything else) is highly appreciated!
