Okay so many of you will have played ShinyGold By Zel, and possibly unlocked the Hard Version.
Well thats what I've done or atleast plan to do to ruby, although I'm going to do more than simply bump up the levels. Im going to create a whole new game whilst keeping tp the same storyline,(unless i can aquire a scripter, wh's willing to help)

    -Features include:

    -Lots more wild pokemon available
-More 'interesting' maps and Gym layouts
-possibly more challenging gym and cave puzzles
-changes to many Gyms and E4 member's types
    -New Balanced starters
-Changes to the evolution of many stone and trade evolution pokemon's evolutions.

    a couple things...
    1. shiny gold was good because it was a 2nd gen remake into a 3rd gen, and it followed the story of gold, while adding a couple twists.
    2. remaking a 3rd gen into a 3rd gen, probably won't turn out to good.
    3. through your pics, it seems that you are able to get a strong pokemon right away, and most people don't like that.
4.the starter pokemon were already evened out, and a slowpoke as a starter isn't to good of an idea, because it has a high defence, so if your rival has it, then it will be hard to win against.

theese are just some points of view from my perspective.

    In response to your comments
1:Im taking the idea of making the game harder, rather than the idea of remaking the full thing.
2:We'll have to wait and see.
3:If you're talking about kangaskhan, then i can assure you, its not as strong as it may seem, and the downside of it is that theres no evolution. The Omastar isnt obtainable until later on.
4: Slowpoke worked for me when i played through, as i played through the designated Alpha area with each starter and found that slowpoke is actually the easier to use, although i think i'll change it as its too hard to flee from the grass types at the beginning.
-The rival will not have the same starters as you. Theyll have different pokemon completely

The keyword here is 'experimental. This is a practice run for the full fledged hack i'll be making once my fakedex is complete.
Im doing this purely to test my skills.
