    Pokémon VR: Kanto Chronicles.

    The year is 20XX; it is the dawn of the Virtual Reality Era. Sit down, relax, and let yourself be drawn into the game, you never know what might happen next.

    Story:

    Now is the year 20XX, the much fantasised and eagerly awaited console that rivals the Nintendo DSi is to be release within the ensuing months, and is predicted to be the one console that breaks all sales records worldwide. Nintendo VR brings with its release a new era to the world of gaming as well as a new way to experience game play.

    Nintendo has finally publically revealed to the world its newest gaming console, aptly named the Nintendo VR, standing for Virtual Reality. This new console does as its name suggests and brings the user and his/her five senses right into the game, to feel, see, hear, smell, taste the world around them.

    Along with their public announcement that was aired on major channels all across the world, the Nintendo Game Freak inc. also announced the simultaneous release of their new Pokémon game coinciding with the release of the Nintendo VR console. This game was to be called [FONT=&quot]ポケットモンスタ：関東    [FONT=&quot]伝[/FONT][FONT=&quot] ([/FONT]Poketto Monsutā: Kantoden) Pokémon: Kanto Chronicles.

    As a promotional offer, Nintendo Game Freak inc. sent out a proposal to everyone out there who would be willing to trial out the new game system as well as game. There are five spots available to five people willing to try out this game who will be chosen from a competition entry.

    Background:

    In 1996, Satoshi Tajiri and Shigeru Miyamoto created the beginning of a multi-national, multi-billion dollar video game series in Japan. Named "Pokémon", the idea expanded out of Japan and into the wider world where it was translated and became and overnight sensation. This game series began to evolve bringing out new, exciting regions to roam and new, interesting Pokémon to capture, train and battle with.

    In 200X, a nobody known as Ichiro Raigami joined Game Freak and began working on the Pokémon games with many other people.

    In 20XY, Ichiro showed his plans to Nintendo on the idea of a new, Virtual Reality gaming system that was to rival Sony's Playstation X and Microsoft's Xbox series. The proposal was turned down on the grounds that it was pure fantasy and Ichiro was told to re-propose when he could present a successful working prototype.

    In 20XZ, Ichiro finished his project for a new gaming system, named Prototype Delta. Nintendo revelled in the idea, predicting it to bring in millions and began to manufacture it under the title of Nintendo VR (Virtual Reality).

    Now is the year 20XX, the eve of the release of this revolutionary gaming system.

    The Nintendo VR, the first of its kind and the pioneer in the field of Virtual Reality, much anticipated is soon to arrive. This gaming system by Nintendo plugs all five senses into the game, making the game as real as real life. Movements whilst inside the system are made by thought processes by the wearer, for example, to walk, the gamer would have to think of walking, not actually do the movements but think of the action of movement which is picked up by thought processors in the helmet and translated into the game.

    Rules:

    1.No Godmoding and Bunnying only if other player consents.
    2.Not too much cursing or gore.
    3.The RP will be done in stages, it is not novel based but lengthy paragraphs are needed as well as conversation between people.
    4.Respect everyone, let's be nice people.
    5.Your character won't be able to win all the time, regulate between winning and losing.
    6.Follow the forum rules.
    7.Stay active or I will remove you from the RP, probably once a week.
    8.Legendaries are out of the question until I bring them in.
    9.I am the RP master, let no one be otherwise.

    Essay Question: Out of the three Kanto Starters, which is the best to begin with and why?

    Well, seeing as this would be completely opinionated, I would have to say Charmander due to the fact that Fire Types are strong against grass types and most of the pokemon you face in the beginning of the games. This would give you the advantage throughout the beginning of the game allowing easy level up and faster evolution. Besides Charizard, one of Charmanders evolutions, is a great offensive pokemon and has powerful moves as well. Other than that I find that his later ability to use fly is useful for those who don't have a Flying type pokemon. Also Fire types are the hardest to find as they usually live in caves or volcanoes while Grass and Water Types are everywhere. Other than that Charmander and it's evolutions look awesome.

    Veern wears his normally blond hair straight so that it just comes down to his eyes. Like I said, his normally blond hair, he dyes his blond hair a neon green for no reason but that he likes the color green. He also has Green eyes that have sometimes been said to glow in the dark by his friends. He otherwise looks like a normal person that happens to be Six foot six inches, or 30.7 Centimeters, tall. He wears a black sweat shirt/ hoodie, a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a pair of normal street shoes. Veern is fairly skinny and slightly muscular.

    Essay Question: Out of the three Kanto Starters, which is the best to begin with and why? I would pick squirtle because even though it doesn't do very good in grass it does amazingly in caves and caves are generally much harder than running around in basic
    grass. I also would pick squirtle because it has an amazing advantage against the first gym which can give you a boost in the first part, In relation to gyms squirtle would only be weak to 2 gyms whereas the other pokemon are weak to more gyms but getting another pokemon for that is easy. I also like squirtle because its evolution Blastoise has amazing defenses and this can be very useful.

    Attached Photo:Luke has short blond hair that goes to his eyes not covering just showing them. His eyes are a deep grey color that has been said to be slightly creepy. He likes to wear baggy blue jeans with a small amount of dirt on them. Luke likes to wear a large green Sweatshirt no matter what the weather is. Luke uses a pair of Athletic shoes despite the fact that he never does anything athletic. Luke is neither fat nor skinny he is just in the middle he doesn't eat to much but he doesn't exercise either.

    I'd choose Bublbasaur. It' much easier to train, quicker to befriend you, and easier to evolve, regarding
    that a Leaf Stone is easier to find than a Fire or Water Stone.

    I believe that whichever Pokemon you choose as a starter in Kanto would be a good choice, mainly because each are more than capable of beating atleast the first gym leader. This is because bulbasuar and squirtle are grass and water types, which are strong against rock type, and charmander learns metal claw, also super effective against rock types. If I were to choose one, however, it would be bulbasaur, mainly because I favor grass types.

If I were to choose one, however, it would be bulbasaur, mainly because I favor grass types, but also because it can defeat the first two, and last one gym leader, as well as some of Bruno and Lorelei's Pokemon. Bulbasaur also evolves into ivysaur, then later venusaur, which make excellent tank Pokemon, Frenzy plant optional, and being grass type, may learn moves which sap other Pokemon's energy, put the to sleep, or poison them.
