Coronis helped me get into the manga with his amazing summaries. I didn't know I could read scans back then. Even just reading those summaries kept me in suspense.
 
Coronis is awesome. ^.^
I love his summaries. But, I've always wondered, does he live in Japan or something? I've always wondered how he gets the manga, reads it, and makes a summary of it.
 
Coronis got me HOOKED. I was way interested in the manga before I actually read it. I still read the summaries often. So, yeah, he rules.

He would rule if he wasn't under Merrick's evil influence. He would probably a part of our awesome scanning community then. And we would have FULL scans of every new chapter from Japan.

So, Coronis does not rule. He could, though...
 
Um... I don't get it, Maxim. Who is Merrick? Why is he under Merrick's influence? How did you know these? Quite confusing :S
 
I think that Merrick is Serebii.
 
Hmm... Maybe? If Merrick is Serebii. Then it maybe posting the whole manga is illegal. So Merrick ask Coronis to not to post them.

Joe Merrick = Serebii

Simple.

Merrick is afraid of his site being sued for illegal things so he forbids all scans in his forums. Not to mention he's an asshole It's so sad that Coronis works for him. If he didn't, our scanning "mafia" would have an awesome member.
 
Well, Maxim. You should understand Merrick. Merrick's site is just for information. Not the place for Cheats Codes, Hacking Roms and Scan postings. And Serebii's site has many Pokemon details and the site is very neat all is Merrick's hard work. So, you should understand people. They have their own reason. Serebii is the most famous Pokemon Site. If Serebii is closed, Merrick's hard works are all wasted. If Coronis posted all the scans, Serebii closed, whose fault? They probaly will say "It's Coronis fault!". If Serebii closed, we won't be able to get the latest news of Pokemon games. If you don't like Pokemon games, there's many people like it and they wanted to know the latest news but if Serebii is closed, they will be disapointed and they'll all say it's Coronis fault for posting the scans. Maybe that's why Merrick forbid the scan. You shouldn't only think for yourself. You should think and care others' people feelings. It's good enough that Merrick let Coronis posts the summary and let us know what's happened in the manga. That's is "everyone respects everyone". If you think you're right or it's not enough for you or you think I'm very annoying you, I have no idea.

Which doesn't change a fact that Merrick is an asshole and he's not so innocent as he seems. He has lots of illegal ROMs on his hard drive. The screens on his site prove this.

I love Pokemon Games but it's not like Merrick's site is the only source on that. Serebii also has MANY errors and it's very annoying when people copy those errors. "Glacidia" Flower, Buck using a Rhyperior in Battle Tower and many, many more widespread errors which were spread by Merrick. We have many better sources on the Pokemon Games (Bulbapedia is one of them, though their admins are also mostly assses). So, it's not like Serebii.net's possible fall would ruin the entire fandom.

I don't care about Merrick's reasons. He's a hypocrite about this. Coronis should totally work for us, not him. At Serebii.net, Coronis is nothing more than Merrick's underling, if he worked for us, he would be a hero. Like in the song, We Need a Hero! Because our heroine Nicoleb seems to be gone forever.

Yeah man, o yeah, and speking of the mods, the mods in Serebiiforums are just purely really dum people. I mean why can't you ask about Red and Green's costumes for Halloween for a SHIPPING THREAD?!?! I'm going of on a rant about this because maybe the mods are also influenced by Merrick as well.... man Im so angry!

The fact that they ban for "asking about Red and Green's costumes for Halloween for a SHIPPING THREAD" is not Merrick's influence. It's just a job of a moderator. Which doesn't change the fact that they just serve Merrick and are also assholes.

So, please, don't advocate Merrick and his servants crew using such a lame sarcasm.

If its illegal to scanlate stuff, then can they close down Pokecommunity??? *shudder*
 
Well, power, even if only Internet power, does crazy things to people.
 
Errmm~ I like Serebii.net alot. I don't hate it. Only Maxim hates it :( I like Serebii.net alot :D
Serebii gives us alot of Pokemon information! And a little of errors of the items name or whatever doesn't matter to me. As long as Serebii gives us many news! I think Maxim wants a lot and it's not alot for him so he just can't shut his complaining Merrick mouth :S
 
I rely on Serebii every day for the news. It even says what things are fake and whatnot.
 
Yeah Serebii is totally rocked. Serebii is the most famous Pokemon fan site.
