Pokemon XY 0EXP Gain

I want to make a ROM hack of Pokémon XY with zero XP gain. I am very inexperienced with this kind of stuff, So any help would be appreciated. this will be for a video on my let's play channel so whoever can help us out will be much appreciated. thank you!!!

(i would play XY on Citra Nightly btw, if that makes a difference...)

you could perchance use a cheat to get the same effect (it'll probably give your pokemon 1 exp after battle)
