Pokemon: YTP Adventure or Pokemon Poopy Version

This will be a hack of Ruby.

Story:
You are a boy/girl who has moved to the region of YTP. This region is full of laughs, an idiodic "Evil Team" and just plain stupid stuff that does not make sense at all. Also, there are still 8 gyms and an Elite 4, with a champion. Oh, and every Pokemon will be replaced with something else, be it Mama Luigi or The King of Hyrule, to even the dreaded Dora the Explorer (to me at least), this hack will (hopefully) make you fall down with laughter.

Gym Leaders and types they specialize in
1-Mikey-Type: Ground(Not Rock, used too many times!)
2-Smelly Sam-Type: poison
3-Monkey Man-Type: Normal
4-Bob Da Stick-Type: Grass
5-Blobby-Type: Water
6-Sonya-Type: Fighting
7-Debra the Clock-Type: Dark
8-Kiki-Type: Fire

If you don't know what YTP is or have not seen one, I suggest you type in Youtube Poop in the youtube search bar and start browsing the hilarious videos that pop up. Walrusguy has some good ones.

Note that all sprites that I use will be given credit if they need credit.

Thank you peoples who suggested stuff! Everything suggested will be taken to heart and thought of. Not meaning that I will use it. Also, even though it IS a good idea to use famous YTP people for the Elite 4 and the gym leaders, but I want them to be pokemon. I am also thinking about changing the Elite 4 to original people from my whacked out just crazy mind.

Huh... never heard of those. Might need to watch a few of them. SHouldn't be too hard, since there is a YTP for almost everything.

Youtube Poop hack?
I can't say I'm very interested considering the circumstances and my own personal opinion of what Youtube Poop is to me.
However, it needs some more originality. Sure you can have the CD-i characters, Robotnik and other popular sources, but so long as they have at least a little bit of interesting backstory.
If you're just making these characters for laughs, then the plot will probably be uninteresting and not engrossing.

As a Youtube Pooper myself, I hope for the best, but try not to get too memey with the YTP quotes. I hate seeing 'PINGAS!!!', 'SPAGHETTI!!' and 'Chocolate? CHOCOLATE?!' everywhere.
You might think I'm a stick in the mud, but I'm pretty hard into the genre and have known it pretty much from before it became a huge popularity.

Funnily enough, that's the argument that Youtube Poopers oftentimes have as well, but enough said of that.

YTP works for the videos, but for an entire RPG with loads of text.. It doesn't work. I suggest you widen your ideas and make things more original.

All you peeps out there that this will not be original, you just don't like the idea of the hack, i betcha. I betcha a penny! Not really, I'm broke! Anyway, A LOT OF THIS WILL BE ORIGINAL! Gym leaders, Elite 4, the works. Of course, there will be a few famour quotes in there, but not EVERYWHERE, not everybody is gonna say "DINNER" or "PINGAS" or whatnot. Just relax, let me work, when I post more stuff, then yell at me! :p

If done properly this could probably be funny, although I myself prefer a more serious approach (I don't watch TV shows just because they're "funny" either...). Also, I personally prefer witty humor to stupid humor. I also don't like, say, spongebob; although this is just me.

One thing you may want to keep in mind when doing this, is that you may not get as big an audience as some hacks. If you can make an interesting story that goes beyond the basic humor in some way, you might attract more players.

So, don't let the super-critics get you down. You can make a funny game, and if you finish it, you'll get at least a few players, like Kitsune Link. If you add something else to it, you'll appeal to even more types of people; but it's much more important that you enjoy what you're doing. As long as you enjoy your game, it shouldn't matter to you if a whole lot of people play, or only an enthusiastic few.

So keep it up, and good luck in making a game that will make you happy! ^-^

I just realized that if the proffesor was Dr. Robotnik, the starters would be Scratch, Grounder, and Coconuts, and the Poochyena you fight at the beginning would be Sonic.....
