    probably XY tbh. The originals are quite boring to play now but for their time were masterpieces and got me into Pokemon. XY just felt really incomplete and way too short for a main series Pokemon game. Don't get me wrong, I loved the region and Pokemon introduced....I just walked away wanting more.
