PART 1: TRAINING AN AWESOME SCIZOR IN DIAMOND, PEARL, OR PLATINUM
1.) Get a Scizor (Duh...)
2.) Scizors are generally Bulky in stats. EXCEPT for Speed and Sp.Attack.
3.) Now if you are using Platinum, you could use an item obtained from the Battle Frontier that boosts stats. (I used a Power Anklet)
4.) If you are using D/P, use Carbos and other stat boosting items.
5.) If you have beaten you game and obtained the National Dex, I recommend going to the Battle Zone. After doing so, go towards the Survival Area. Right in the begging of the route, there will be 3 trainers. That area really helps gain EXP.
6.) Put your Scizor in the first slot. Battle a trainer and immediately switch out to a high level Pokemon (Like a Lv.100).
7.) Once your Scizor has reached Lv.57, most of your training is done.
PART 2: SCIZOR MOVESETS
My Scizor was from Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, so my Scizors final moveset is Swords Dance, Morning Sun, Iron Head, and X-Scissor. Your final Scizor moveset should be similar to mine, but without Morning Sun. I had my Scizor learn Swords Dance because Scizor's Attack stats are the best. Have your Scizor learn Swords Dance and by Lv.100, it will be unbeatable (except against Fire-Types (4X on Scizors). Iron Head and X-Scissor both have 80 for Power and 100 for Accuracy. Have your Scizor holding an item that boosts Bug-Type moves or Steel-Type moves will help a lot.
PART 3: BATTLING WITH YOUR AWESOME SCIZOR
ALWAYS START OUT WITH SWORDS DANCE NO MATTER WHAT! Starting out with Swords Dance will give you a huge advantage in the long run. If you think you can take some more hits from your opponent, use Swords Dance 2 more times. Your Attack stat will be maximized.

Scizor Level: From 40 to 100 in two days.
Scizor Stats: Attack: 316 Defense: 218 Sp.Attack: 138 Sp.Defense: 215 Speed:190 HP:275
Scizor's Held Item: SilverPowder
Scizor's Nature: Quiet
Scizor Has Beaten On Its Own: Rival (Final Pokemon in Platinum); Riley (Platinum Battleground)
