I grinned, in spite of the pain that still threatened to knock me back unconcious. "Now you know how I feel." I told her. I then leaned back, to rest, as the burns I had suffered needed some serious time to heal.

Tawny was worried. Seth was injured, but that woman was still after them. SHe only hoped the fire would buy them some time.

I turned my head and watched her/. I found I couldn't take my eyes off her, adn for some reason my heart was beating fast as if I was still running. I couldn't understand it, but I could tell it had somethign to do with Tawny. I jsut had to figure out what.

Tawny felt Seth's gaze and thought it best to try and ignore it. She desperatly wanted to get her hoodie back on, as she never wore such revealing clothing in public. SHe was still quite worried about the woman who was after them.

Feeling I may have been disturbing her with teh gaze all Blaziekn have, I turned away and began to think of other matters. I begn to worry about that absol fusion that was with us in the fores. I did not see where he had gone when teh fires started. And then there was still that woman. Teh flygon fusion. There was no telling where she was right now.

"Seth?" Tawny asked suddenly. "Seth, where's the other guy who was with us!?" she implored in panic. "Did you see him escape the fire?"

"I've got to go back," Tawny murmered, more to herself than to Seth. "I can't live with myself if he dies..."

She dove gracefully back into the river, swimming powerfully to the other bank. She climbed out, coughing from inhaling the smoke. She pushed her way through the fallen trees, burning her hands in the process. She called out to him, trying desperatly to find the absol hybrid.

"FALCO!" Tawny screamed. "FALCO!"

She wove her way around the flames that licked her ankles hungrilly. "FALCO, WHERE ARE YOU!?"

<OOC>Sorry, this forum has been anal toward me for a while now. Anyone care to fill me in?<OOC>

OOC: I started a massive fire in the forest, Seth and tawny escaped, tawny came back to look for you. but, since you're alone...

IC: Noticing they left the Absol behind, I flew down with Salamence, as Scyther and Houndoom came out, ready to bring him down.

I had followed Eclipse as she left the hideout, and managed to keep her in view, though staying out of sight until she called for my aid with the fusions...

OOC: An IC way of saying: I'm still here!

I panicked in the midst of the blaze and the Salamence headed my way wasn't helping things. I whipped my head around rapidly, looking for a way out. I saw my chance under a fallen log, if I could get past there I was sure it'd be an easy shot out. I made a break for the gap, jumping at the last second and rolling when I hit the ground to extinguish the flames. I heard Tawny's voice calling my name somewhere and shouted back "Where are you?!"

Tawny followed his voice, not wanting to give any more away than she had to. She quickly located him, grabbing his hand and yanking him around, doubling back in a few places before reaching the river.

"Come on!" she said urgently. "We've gotta get across the river or they'll catch us! Unless you want to go back, you'll swim for your life!"

With that, the Raichu hybrid leapt into the river, the current pulling her slightly, though she managed to get across.

I was relieved to see Tawny had come back. Her clothes ere linging toher again, and I woudl have offered to help her dry off if it weren't for the fact I stil couldn't move so well. I saw Falco on the other side of the river. I would have done something to encourage him over, but again I couldn't move very well. :\

Without hesitation I dove in, pulling myself across the fast-moving water as quickly as I could. Once I was on the other side, I pulled myself out of the frigid river hurridly and shook, sending the water flying out of my fur. "Thanks, Tawny" I said breathlessly, adding a nod to it.

The water splattered all over me, and I had to grit my teeth to keep from screaming out in pain. Before that amount of water probably wouldn't hurt so much, but I was extremely sensitive from the pain I had endured fording the river. I was also a bit upset that his gratitude seemed sorely under done. He owed her his life. Like I owed her mine.

Seeing Seth flinch, I said tersely "Sorry, I forgot. Need any help?"
