"Yeah, just keep showing off.' i said to Falco. "you know if it was any shorter a distance I would have smoked you. Blaziken are the fastest short term runners. They jsut don't do marathons so well."

"Yeah, but it wasn't a shorter run, was it now" I replied teasingly. I looked up quickly, seeing the moon at a rough midpoint. 'Bout 5 more hours I thought to myself. Aloud, I added on "Anyway, we should all get some rest. It's been a rough day."

I curled up quietly in the hollow at the base of my own tree. It was relaxing, really. It had been years since I'd felt this much at peace. I was asleep within minutes, breathing quietly.

Tawny sat in a tree, having climbed nimbly up it. She stared into the night, feeling her foul mood ebb away with the tranquility of the night. She lowered herself onto the ground and returned to the group to see both Pokemon/boys sleeping gently. The Raichu curled up, drawing her tail around herself before dozing off.

I woke up early the next morning and was happy to see Tawny nearby. Apparently she was just fine. I got up and yawned, and noticed that I no longer had a beak. it seemed it faded coem sunlight. Upon a clsoer look, I realized that Tawny and Falco were in their half forms as well.

Tawny's eyes fluttered open, finding herself looking at a half form. She recognized him as Seth. She stretched, seeing her arms had returned to normal, as had the rest of her body.

"THank heavens," she muttered.

Tawny stood, smiling. "I didn't mind not being able to talk," she said, holding her smile in place though her grey eyes were hard. "It was being treated as though I was inferior that bugged me."

I nstretched myself as I got up, yawning as I said "'Spose so. Good morning to the both of you." I was a bit grim at Tawny's words, I was guilty of thinking of her as such myself. I dropped my head and said "apologies, Tawny."

"IT's fine," Tawny said, accepting both apologies. "I know you just wanted to help," she whispered.

"Well, where do we go from here?" she asked.

well, waiting out the night wasn't too bad. Now that I was my fusion self again, I was walking through the base, checkign the computers, looking to see if I could track any of the other fusions. shadow, as far as I knew, was nowhere in sight. Flare, on the other hand, was trailing along behind me like a puppy

"Eclipse, what are you doing? you've already tried this!" She whined.

"hush. If this doesn't work, there are countless other ways to find them" I said, gettign to my latest computer. i brought up 3 DNA strands, all belonging to the fusions, and had the computer hack into the sattilite system, and find the DNA trails off that.. I could only hope that not only would it work, that the fusions wouldn't sence the resulting scan..

"We will. The woman's dead." For my part, I didn't consider it a threat or promise, merely a statement of fact. I clamped my hands together quickly and said "But we obviouly need to train. Let's get to it."

"ma'am, the scan is complete" I heard from behind me, now that I had chosen to retreat into my office. it was Ein.

"and?" I pressed, demanding answers. Ein knew better than to keep me waiting.

"Found them. I've already set them to a DNA track. Shall I send a retreival?" He said.

"No. I will hunt them personally. Naturally, I won't leave without back-up support. Shadow if I can find him, Flare, and Venus. tell her to be ready, with her best pokemon." I said.

"Will do." he said, before turning and walking out of the room.

"and just where have you been for the past 6 hours?" I asked. now that i had re-taken my role as boss, I could become quite the nasty person.
