Tawny's mind was working faster than her mouth. Seth didn't understand, people from her past were indeed after her. Scar's son wanted her dead in vengence for his father. Vengence, that's what started it all... Tawny's need to avenge her parent's death... and now, Scar's death needing to be avenged....

"Listen to me Tawny." I said again, more firmly this time. "IF anyone is after you, me and Falco are here. We won't let anything happen to you. And with our new foudn abilities, there isn't anything we can't do."

Tawny closed her eyes. "Thank you," she whispered, leaning against Seth.

She shivered again, out of cold this time. The small framed girl was wearing half a beter, as she had torn the shirt apart to bandage Seth. Her hoodie was most likely a pile of ashes in the forest by now, and her jeans were still damp, as was her hair.

Tawny involentarily snuggled into Seth's warm body. The girl had fallen into a light sleep again, this one, dreamless.

I myself had been thrown into a swirl of my own dark thought. No need to worry the others though, it was nothing that I hadn't handled in the past. But this "Scar's" description...It matched my old gang leader perfectly, at least with what information I had. Paraise the heavens I'd gotten out of that life.

Tawny woke slowly, realizing she had fallen asleep in Seth's lap. She pulled herself away, fully embarassed about her episode last night.

"Seems that way" I said smiling. I stood and stretched, shaking of the fine coat of dew that had formed on me. Id hadn't been the most restful of nights, but I'd manage. Besides, Seth and Tawny needed looking after. I couldn't get too caught up in the past.
<OOC>Oh, don't worry, I won't be going much more in depth yet.<OOC>

"We should probably get moving," Tawny whispered, wishing her hoodie was still around. She'd have to nick some warmer clothing the next time the passed a village.

I assented, nodding and saying "Probably. Any idea where, though?"

I was unconcous at my base, mostly because I now had a near-broken arm from a nasty brawl with Team Snaggem. it didn't take much to drive them off, but I had been directly assulted by a haryama during the time. I was lucky to get out of that fight with my life..

Flare came into the room that I was dozing in, tears still on her face. she sat next to the bed i was on, and cried into her arms. anybody with good hearing could hear her whisper, "why her? why my sister?" This was a disaster. I was out of action, and Flare still was not old enough to run the team, and I trusted nobody else with the position...

I painfully sturggled to my feet, manging to stand up. "Let's get going." I muttered. "And hope someone will be kind enough to give three genetic freaks some shelter." My darkling mood had returned wtih a vengeance, being painfully reminded that water was no longer my best friend.

Tawny grimaced, hating nothing more than the fact that Seth had referred to the three of them as freaks.

"I think we should follow the river. There's bound to be some city built up on top of it. No matter how old, I'm sure there'll be somewhere for us to rest..." she offered, thinking longingly of sweatshirt.

"Makes us easier to track" I offered, looking at the marshy land around the river. I added "We should get about a half-mile away from the water before we start."
