—POKEMORPHS—
The Pokemon world is a place not unlike the Earth that we know and love. It is a planet populated by both humans and animals, and it is under attack. A parasitic alien species known as Yeerks have arrived, and they are out for world domination. They intend to completely enslave the humans on Earth by making them into Controllers—people with a Yeerk wrapped around their brains. The only thing between them and their goal... is you.
You will play a human teenager who finds out about the invasion and agrees to fight back. To accomplish this, you will be given the power to morph into any Pokemon that you touch and absorb the DNA of. However, there is a downside. If you remain in morph for longer than two hours, you're trapped forever. Be mindful when you're on missions, and be sure to never get caught turning back into a human, or it might be the last thing that you ever do!
Information
This role play is essentially Animorphs meets Pokemon. The Pokemon aspect is a bit different than what we're used to. Pokemon don't evolve into one another; instead, each particular one is its own species. There are some exceptions (Caterpie to Metapod to Butterfree comes to mind), but usually they are just closely related on the evolutionary chain, like...chimps and monkeys, you know? Furthermore, humans don't catch Pokemon with Pokeballs. Pokemon might be domesticated or kept on farms, or raised for food, like here on Earth. Their abilities, however, are all intact, and therein lies the fun of the RP.
To do battle, you will "morph" into a Pokemon that you have acquired the DNA of. This will occur during the RP, and there is no limit to morphs. They can be acquired as we require them for the story. The rules for acquiring aren't strict, but you should probably run it by me first before you go and grab one in your post.
We can write in first person, which actually works really well, or third person. The choice is yours. The point is to have fun with what we do here, so do what makes you comfortable.
I'm looking for around five to seven players, with six being the most ideal number. I'm not going to be too picky. Just make a fun character and you should be fine. If more people want to join later, there are ways I can squeeze you in...
Naturally, if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to ask.
And remember, you do not need to know a thing about Animorphs in order to be in this RP. It's meant to be fun, so everything will be explained not only in the RP itself, but also by your fellow roleplayers.
I'd be honored to write with any of you, so come on in and let's have fun!
Chapters/Parts
Planned out roleplays tend to live longer than make-it-up-on-the-spot ones, so this is how things will work- every character will get a part, in turns, in which they create the plot and everybody probably focuses just a little more on that person's character. As one part nears the end, the baton will be passed to the next character or someone who has a plot idea, until every character has had a turn, kind of like the Animorph books. Kapish?
If you're still confused, here's an example- I start the RP with the traditional "meet the dying alien, get powers, launch an attack on the Yeerk Pool and epically fail" opening, and while we're attacking the Yeerk pool in the RP or somewhere around then, I ask User2 to come up with a plot idea. If User2 is completely stumped, we move on to User3, and maybe User2 can come up with something later, and all of us can chip our own two cents while we're formulating the plot for the next part of the RP.
If you're still confused, then don't hesitate to ask for more clarification.

Playing Guidelines
Yeah, we've got to have some rules. They aren't anything terrible, just the basics, and a couple Animorph-specific ones.
1: Absolutely no god-modding. This means that you should not state that a character who is not yours does something that his/her player has not written that he/she has done yet.
2: Be respectful of your fellow players. If something has happened between any of you, keep it outside the RP! Once in character, we are all equals, so keep things unbiased and light-hearted.
3: Have fun! This is a roleplay. Play as in game. The whole point of an RP is to have fun, so enjoy yourselves!
4: Post reasonably often. No one is going to kill you if you don't post for a day, and we understand if you get bogged down with school work and stuff, but try not to let it go for too long without a post. If you have an issue and know you won't be able to post for a while, let me know. I'm a pretty understanding guy.
5: No one lining! No, just no. This is the mortal sin of roleplays. Don't one-line on me. Give me a quality post, or wait to post until you can make one.
6: There isn't any limit to the number of morphs we all can get, and duplicating is allowed, but do not acquire a morph without asking permission first if it is not a common Pokemon (If you want to snag a Rattata real quick, that's fine. If you warp time and bring back some Bastiodon with you, then we have a problem). I usually won't mind if you want to get one, but please post about it on the OOC thread before you go and grab it. This rule exists so that no one goes crazy getting super powerful morphs!
7: Try not to randomly create NPCs. That is, try not to make important NPCs unless the situation really calls for it. Go for it if you just need to talk to a sales clerk or something, but don't suddenly create Visser 6, almighty conqueror of the Sagitarri system in the middle of a heated battle.
8: There will only be one Andalite player maximum, and you have to have a really good sign-up to be a benevolent Controller.
9: Do not ignore things that someone else has posted. This ties into being respectful to your fellow RPers. If someone took the time to write something into a post, you should take the time to respond to it. Don't be rude!
10: If you wish to be a nothlit, someone who gets trapped in morph, mention it in your sign-up, or just mention it if you've already signed up.
And I think that's it for now... If I think of more I will definitely update this section.
Cast List
I will be a character in this RP as well- I may or may not take a leadership role as a character, though. If you want to take that role, just mention it in your sign-up. Another kind of staple thing to an Animorph plot is somebody with easy access to a diverse bunch of animals (or in our case, Pokemon)- Cassie from the original books is the prime example, with parents as zoo keepers, but I can think of, say, a kid who lives on a ranch or who has wildlife rangers as parents.
1. Windchaser54321 (i.e. me), Ivan
Spoiler:
Name: Ivan
Age: 15
School year: 10th
Sex: Male
Personality: Ivan is, at first sight, clingy, snobbish, and a total klutz on top of all that. He is extremely business-oriented and left-brained, analyzing the world around him for a way to make profit from it. People are numbers to him, and most of the time he considers others as irrelevant to the overall situation, and thus ignores them. He does not believe in spending money to spend money, or indeed giving anything of any value for "luxuries", as he terms them- if he loses anything, then he's going to get it back at least doubled in value. He is not a total coldblooded junior businessman, though- when business is not involved (which is very rarely, but all the same), he is an easy person to talk to and truly enjoys art and music. A right mind sub-current is always underneath his analytical side to make his private view of the world interesting, and while his mind may be quick and speedy, his body is far from that and he doesn't go a day without tripping, falling, or breaking something.
History: Ivan's parents were well-off; he spent the first seven years of his life in fancy pants private school that had the personality of a door knob. Actually, "well off" is an understatement. They are filthy stinking rich. He lives in a spacious mansion, with a pool and palm trees out back, and has a butler named Clemens. While he is not spoiled, per say, he had access to pretty much whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted. The trouble is, he didn't want anything. Ivan, after rigorous etching of the maxim in his brain, learned that "the only way to get rich is to not waste money", and spending money on luxuries is classified as wasting it. He became stingy and withdrawn, clinging protectively to what he had, which was a lot. This kind of behavior drove prospective friends away, and while some people put up with his behavior, most did not.
For most of his young life, his father was working abroad and his mother worked late hours as a researcher, so Ivan stayed at home, alone, most of the time, entertaining himself with games like Monopoly that his parents insisted would "hone his mind". On the occasions when his father was at home, it was not bonding time- it was lesson time. Ivan's father would drill him extensively on the ways the economy worked, so that Ivan would run his father's business empire well when he inherited his throne.
In eighth grade, Ivan transferred to a public school, and thrust into an unfamiliar and suddenly vibrant world, he contracted into a shell of his own, preferring to meet with his old friends rather than make new ones. It was also in this year that his mother gave birth to a little brother, who they christened Dominic- yet all the money in the world could not prevent the fact that Dominic was blind. The little brother Ivan had so been looking forward to turned out to be a burden, but he cared for the baby nonetheless for the next year, where the present finds us...
Appearance: They say a human's eyes are windows to his or her soul- Ivan's are more like triple-locked, steel enforced, time encoded, take-out-the-intruder iron vaults. He is shorter than most boys his age, around five and a half feet, and his dark brown hair is always slicked back to reveal a rather large forehead and a pinched, sallow face. His skin is bleached pale white from too many hours indoors, and sometimes there are bags under his gray eyes. He usually wears something smart, but not formal, like polo shirts and school uniform-type trousers.

2. Zimvee, Bobby
Spoiler:
Name: Bobby
Age: 18
School year: 12
Sex: Male
Personality: Bobby has an upbeat personality and is always there if you need a shoulder to cry on. He's always looking for the joke in things as his motto is "Life's either sad or funny, and when your done crying what else is there?" (Credit to Marco! :D) He can be a little on the odd sometimes, staring off into space or taking a few seconds to register if your talking to him but he loves being around people. However he has a bit of an anger problem and is working on controlling it with limited success. He does however love adventure and hopes for one day to drive around the country as he also loves traveling.
History: Bobby has had a pretty average life. His family has moved at least 5 times in his life so he has had trouble making friends. He has had a feeling however, of wanting to do something more important with his life like being a super hero or something along that line. He does have a weak relationship with his parents however. He was sheltered under their protection for 17 years but on his 17th birthday they released him to the world, thinking he was ready to make decisiouns like an adult. This was a mistake. He didn't know how to do anything so now he's trying his hardest to lean what it takes to make it in the world. He and his father also have a very weak relationship as one minuete they'll be best friends and the next minuete they'll be throwing punches.
Appearance: Bobby is 5ft 6in with slightly tanned skin covering his wry frame. His mop of curley black hair comes just above his chocolate brown eyes. He typically wears black boots with sandy looking blue jeans and a white hoodie with a Jack Skellington pattern.

3. Mira, Taylor
Spoiler:
Name: Taylor
Age: 15
School year: 10th
Sex: female
Personality: Taylor tends to be a sarcastic person by nature and utilizes that aspect of her personality for nearly all of her social interactions. She is clever and witty, though not necessarily in a mainstream sense. Taylor is a rather strange person, and she's the first person to say so (unless she's being sarcastic, of course). She'll use up a whole afternoon writing up random scenes that pop into her head that never seem to go anywhere or could really possibly be strung together into a single story if she isn't pulled away to do something else. She tends to be somewhat social and her friendly disposition tends to make others around her feel comfortable (or at least entertained), but she also loves to just be alone dreaming up fantastic and utterly improbable situations and worlds. She likes problem-solving and riddles, regardless of whether she is particularly good at them or not. Taylor is somewhat of a tough girl, not afraid to get in somebody's face if they get on her nerves or tell them what exactly she thinks of them. Despite her smallish size, Taylor also isn't afraid to do a little slapping or elbowing if she feels that such things would better get her point across. She also tends to be either oblivious or hypersensitive, often depending upon how her day had gone up to that point. While hypersensitive, she will twist whatever anybody around her says in order to make it negative and just all around assume the worst of everyone, while if she is the former she tends to act more friendly and social. Also, when she gets emotional about something, she tends not to think things through... But otherwise, she is really rather quick-thinking and intelligent. She is also stubborn and, once she gets something in her head, she is hard-pressed to listen to anybody else.
History: Taylor was raised in a very small town where everybody knew one another and were all very close. She hated it. Nothing ever happened and whatever the town did offer in the way of entertainment quickly grew old and tedious. She felt as though her school moved too slowly and ended up taking quite a few advanced classes, though she was still thoroughly bored with it. In fact, the only thing that she liked about the town was the pond. Very few people ever went there, preferring to go to the pool or drive 45 minutes to hang out on the beach. Taylor would go down there often during every season, either sitting in a tree looking over the pond while writing, ice skating, or wandering through the surrounding wood depending on the season. She did have friends, of course, but they were mostly people she ate lunch with and hung out occasionally with, but she was never really all that close to them. Her family moved to a city when Taylor was going into 6th grade, which immediately turned out to be a blessing for her. She gained and maintained a small group of friends, though she found that she could relate to all of them and could honestly call them her best friends. Taylor came out of her proverbial shell and became much more social. She absolutely loved city life and was heartbroken when her family moved again before her Sophomore year, though she was hopeful that her new school would be at the very least interesting, which was probably a safe bet.
Appearance: Taylor isn't exactly a person who strikes an intimidating figure. She stands a rather unimpressive 5'3" in height and is rather skinny. She has short blond hair with dark red streaks running through it that is just barely long enough to be pulled back into a ponytail, which is how she often wears it. Several strands of hair that she calls bangs hang messily in front of her mischievous dark, nearly-navy blue eyes. Her face is heart-shaped and makes her to be appear even more young than she is. Her skin is slightly tan from the summer, though it tends to fade as the school year progresses. Taylor wears a black tank top with a red rose on it over which she wears a white button-up shirt which is kept closed with one button over her diaphragm. She wears a black skirt that nearly reaches her knees with thick white leggings underneath. As if to blatantly distort a relatively normal-looking outfit, Taylor wears red converse rip offs that have quotes from her favorite writers written on them in black Sharpie. She carries her books around in a black shoulder bag with a flower pattern sewn in with silver thread. She has small silver studs in her ears and a black woven choker around her neck with a stone pendent shaped into a strange symbol. Taylor doesn't wear a lot of makeup, but what she does mainly consists of bright red lip gloss and some mascara.

4. pikakip, Dane
Spoiler:
Name: Dane
Age: 16
School year: 10th
Sex: Male (straight)
Personality: Dane is a calm person with a warm personality. He smiles quite a bit, and when he does get angry, It's for something big. He sticks with his family and friends, and is willing to stick up for them until the end. He is slightly timid, and is never the first to charge into battle. He loves pokemon, and he tends to hang out with them more than he hangs out with actual people. Dane hates evil people, even though he doesn't have much experience with them.
Dane Loves to read and play videogames, having pulled all-nighters just to play an Epic game or to finish a really good novel. His all-time favorites include the cirque du freak books and Fable II. He also loves to draw, even if he isn't good at it. In fact, he tried to draw a mudkip once, but it ended up looking like a ditto.
Dane feels that if the need should ever come, a friend should always help another friend, no matter what the risk. Over time, this has become his 'motto'.
Under the skin of this 'good' child, there is a darker side. It has often pushed him to steal, vandalize, and pickpocket. While he does have this 'dark persona', he hides it around his friends, and he refuses to let anyone but his victims see it.
History: For the first few years, Dane had a fairly boring life. He went to school, had an average relationship with his parents, made friends, stayed out of trouble. Most would consider it boring. Then again, no one ever saw his 'secret' life. when Dane turned 13, he began to sneak out of the house and cause trouble around town. He spray painted walls, threw rocks at windows, and even pickpocketed from people that were all alone. He was always back to his 'good' self by morning. This went on for another two years before the event occurred. When pickpocketing for about the third time that night, he was caught. The man who caught him was ex-military, and he showed no mercy towards Dane, knifing him in the side.
So instead of getting professional help, he broke into a medical supply warehouse and stole what he needed. He went to an abandoned building, and did his best to patch himself up. Over time, his wounds began to heal, although whenever his heart rate sped up, his wound would seep. He decided that he would not sneak out again until the wound was completely healed.
He still has not gone out at night, even though his wound is now a scar.
He has since tried to atone for his actions, being good, making As in school, Hanging with friends. His change has come partly from that night, and partly from some recent news. He's going to be a big brother.
Appearance: Dane is about five foot ten and very thin. He has Blond hair with streaks from his favorite red dye. It's parted directly down the middle so his vision is clear. He has long arms and legs. His skin is fairly white, due to him not going outside very much. He has a scar going down his right cheek from a stray cat attack. He has Hazel/green eyes that seem to shift color depending on what he wears.
His normal outfit consists of Black jeans or kakhi shorts, and a plain Tee in assorted colors. He has a stainless steel bracelet that he wears around his wrist 24/7. He also has a small black stud earring in his right ear that has a pokeball design etched into it. He likes to wear black converses, and he has a habit of getting them and the rest of his outfit 'worn down' within days of them being received.

How familiar are you with Animorphs?: Very, I loved reading the books, even though I only got my hands on a few of them. I can probably name a few of the characters off the top of my head: Jake, Tobias, Cassie...marco? then the andalite guy... I can't remember much other than that.
Do you prefer to write in first person or third person: Third person, but I occasionaly write in first person.

5. Game Over1375, William "Game Over"
Spoiler:
Name: William "Game Over"
Age: 18
School Year: 12th
Sex: Male (straight)
Personality: William, unlike many of hs graduating class, is very quiet. He also keeps many things to himself, and he actually likes it being that way. Why this is is a mystery to many people, except himself. If you try talking to him, just be sure to address him as Game Over, a nickname he earned during middle school. He earned it after knocking out several school yard bullies, who had been teasing him about his shyness. The one thing he said after that fight were the following: "Your games are over" thus earning his name.
Despite his tough exterior and quiet demeanor, William is a nice guy once you get to know him. Those who are close to him(which are very few of) can saw he is very intelligent and likes to crack jokes. One thing that he keeps a secret is his fondness of sewing and building toy models, but only him and two of his friends know about that. William's name is also frequently seen in plays and concerts, as his love for the arts has transformed.
History: William grew up in a loving home of full of women. His mother had run away from his father after William was born, and she lived with her sisters. Things were peaceful for a long time with the family, and it became apparent William was into building things. His room became filled with toy robots he had built himself. Not long after that discovery, he became interested in sewing, so he began taking lessons. He immediately became very good at it, having made many nice outfits. This peace lasted for a long time, until William's father found him and his mother.
That night was horrifying for William as he watched his mother being beaten. William wasn't able to do a thing about it either. His aunts had left the day before to go on vacation while him and his mother stayed. The father was furious about how William's mother was raising him to be a pansy. William immediately spoke up, saying he wasn't a pansy, only to be smacked to the floor and being told to shut up. This angered William to a point that no kid should go, causing William to pick up a nearby lamp and smacking his own father over the head with it. "WHO'S THE PANSY NOW?!" was what William shouted after doing what he did. That night, he adopted a motto. "Why speak when your actions are louder?" That night was also the night William's father was sent to prison.
William took his motto all the way to middle school, where the school yard bullies started giving him heck about being so quiet. When the leader called William a wuss, he got more than he bargained for. He was sent to the nurse's office with a bloody nose and several bruises. The leader's friends were also sent to her for the same reasons. The words heard after the fight from William echoed all over the playground. "Your games are over." The nickname 'Game Over' was then given to him by his classmates. William, liking the name, took it, and it has stayed with him since.
High School has given many experiences to Game Over, who is now a big time actor and singer for many of his school's plays, musicals, and concerts. Nonetheless, no one dares to give him any lip about it. To Game Over, as long as his love of sewing and building toy robots is kept secret and he is left alone, everything is fine.
Appearance: William was pretty small during his elementary and middle school years, but now he is one tall dude. He stands at 6'4" and is built like a college football linebacker. This didn't come natural for him, as it tooks years for him to make his body like this. His blonde hair is very long, coming down below William's shoulders. His hair is usually kept out of his face, but he keeps it in front of his face during fights. While this might seem foolish at first, it is rather intimidating to see this man's hazel eyes highlighted by his hair during fights. His face becomes that of a mad man, but it is merely for show. That look looks even more intimidating because of William's pale skin.
William's usual attire consists of a black t-shirt and black denim jeans with white tennis shoes with black laces. Aviator sunglasses can be seen over his eyes on sunny days. On cold days, he wears a black trench coat over his usual outfit. William made all of his clothing, but only he knows about that.

6. Hansa, Peter "Puzzle"
Spoiler:
Name: Peter "Puzzle"
Age: 16
School year: 10th
Sex: Male
Personality:
Peter thinks a lot. He likes to think of things in his own, weird way, and come to conclusions. As he thinks constantly, he isn't much of a talker. If you ask him a question, you will have to be prepared to wait for at least 2 minutes before getting an answer. He also tends to overlook major parts of things, but remembers small details too. This is because he finds certain details and thinks of them for a while, so he doesn't get time to notice other, major parts. Despite being a classical thinker, Peter never goes on with a monologue. He keeps his thoughts to himself.
Peter has a strong phobia of physical work, since he always gets injured during strains to his body. This fear weakens when in a pokemon form, since the pokemon's body is usually stronger.
History:
Peter was born into a typical family. His mother stayed home to watch him, while his father worked from 9 to 6; pretty much the whole day. His mother was afraid Peter and his father would grow farther apart, so she put him in sports; tennis and soccer. It was apparent from the start that sports wasn't Peter's thing. He was injured all the time. He even got a coupon card to the hospital! Since he spent so much time with doctors and nurses, he developed an interest in medicine quite early. After a year or two, he quit sports and started being a boyscout and going to "Young Doctor's Camp" every summer and winter. A young adept in medicine, his theoretical grades were pretty good. His parents and teachers started worrying that he had so much focus in theory, that he didn't experience the real world. To prevent that, they bought him books about logic, philosophy etc. He liked this some, but he always liked medicine more. Because of the combination of the litterature he studied, he gained the nickname "Puzzle".
Peter started 10th grade, and this is where he learned about the Yeerk invasion. He tried to find a way he could contribute to the human cause, and is still trying...
Appearance:
Peter is 173 cm tall, but appears taller because of his skinny build. He has completely black hair, and grayish-blue eyes. In front of those eyes are glasses, with rectangular frames. His face is pretty square-shaped, but the jaws aren't so firm. His hair is never brushed, but it is so stiff that it stays the same anyway; looking very standard, growing frontwards. His skin is light, but not completely pale. His skin is very healthy, because of his interest in medicine.
He usually wears a shirt with a collar, usually colored either white, grey or black. he wears denim jeans in different shades, and some sneakers, white and blue. If he goes outside, he wears a weather-jacket, which is blue and grey. That's pretty much it, until he buys some new clothes...

7. Wolf in the Rain, Soul
Spoiler:
Name: Soul
Age: 16
School year: 11th
Sex: Male
Personality: Soul is for the most part a fairly calm person, often seen slouched over with his hands in his pockets or retro earphones on his head. Not really the one for company, he doesn't like to go out and make friends. However, due to a competitive part of his personality, he will work in a team (such in sports, but only if he is forced to. Soul, when talked to, usually makes some sort of witty joke during the conversation. However, he can be quite punctual and is irritated easily by some mundane things, mostly explaining something he finds easy or repetition, and he becomes facetious. He sticks to a few close friends and nothing more.
Mythology has always been an interest of Soul's, possibly a side effect of his father's occupation. He often finds the stories as well as the concepts behind them rather amusing, especially the stories of the heroes of the ancient world. The one thing he enjoys more than this, however, is Astronomy. He loves the night sky, and can be often found just looking at it during the night, wondering what is out there.
Soul loves the energy and excitement he gets from morphing into an electric-type Pokémon, as well as the feeling of the night from being a dark type. This leads these forms to be Soul's favorites and the ones he uses the most. However, he has always been creeped out by most Pokemon with more then 4 limbs. Transforming into one always gives him the chills and when possible, he avoids it.
Soul is also familiar with a few other languages, but is only fluent in English.
History: Ever since birth, Soul was raised by wolves :3
Most of Soul's life had been spent abroad, due to his father's occupation, actually, obsession with history and mythology. His father an archeologist and his mother a scientist, Soul was dragged went from site to site, ruins to ruins, dragging Soul and his mother along with him. Places he had lived in varies from condos to apartments to mansions, depending on the scientific grants his parents got. Although he found many historical artifacts, there was nothing of immense importance. Eventually, his father, with pressure from his mother, gave up on the search, settling down and earning a spot as director of a museum when Soul was 14.
Settling down was a huge shock for Soul, like sticking your tongue in an electrical socket*. Taking it as another temporary settlement, he sat back and watched, focusing on his studies and doing little in the aspect of making friends and approaching people.
Appearance: Standing at approximately 6'1", Soul is the average height and average build for his age. Along with a set of sky blue eyes, he has medium long brown hair, with the tips of the front bleached blond by the sun. Most of the time, he wears a red and black "Adidas" sports top with three white lines running down the left sleeve and a red shirt underneath. On the shirt is a black pair of wings on the front. He also wears a pair of blue jeans and white sneakers. However, he also usually wears a black "UnderArmor" brand headband around his neck; over his shirt but under his top. When he stands still, Soul's hands are either in his pockets or crossed in his arms or he is propped against a wall with his headphones on.

8. Zeph, Terrance
Spoiler:
Name: Terrance
Age: 17
School year: 12th
Sex: Male (Straight)
Personality: One word best describes Terrance. Fun. He is a fun loving guy, he always goes that extra step to make sure he enjoys himself and he rarely lets things bother him. There can be a number of situations where Terrance finds himself being the 'comic relief' of it all, or the only one who tries to lighten people's days up. He dosen't particularly understand sorrow, and can't understand why some people insist on wallowing in the past and living life pessimistically. His lack of understanding when it comes to panic or fear can obviously result in the patience of another breaking, resulting in Terrance being lectured about 'morals' and 'what is most important' at the time. However, Terrance has one, strong moral - that is to help others in need, and take life on with a smile on your face.
This way of life for Terrance can make him, as he puts it, "like a Marmite guy," (Pardon the expression) - you either love him, or don't. On one hand, he can be a great guy to be with, relied on to make you laugh or simply there to be your friend. Terrance's presence can make all the difference sometimes in social gatherings. On the other hand, trying to get him to slow down and take things seriously is like pulling teeth. He can have difficulty grasping when it's time to be serious about things - having difficulty knowing when and where certain things should be said. Nonetheless, all Terrance tries to do is be a good, fun person: and he tries hard at it.
History: Terrance was born and has grown up in a decent neighbourhood, in an average sized house, big enough for his family of four - himself, his mother, father and his sister who is a year younger than he is. In this climate, he was introduced to many people of varying ages and experiences. When he was as young as three he found himself bonding and playing happily with other tots his age, without a care in the world. This behaviour, many assumed, came from his own parents, who were both also kind, compassionate and appriciative of others - especially their own children. Terrance and his sister were never treated harshly or punished often - if anything, they were probably raised without much discipline at all. The fun, carefree attitude they developed basically made them nice people - something people always appreciate.
Whearas most kids would see the step to school as a big, dangerous aspect, Terrance was anxious and took it in his stride. Right away, to the dismay of his teachers, he was bouncing from one place to the next, yabbering away to one child then going over to play with the next. As you would expect, this was of great benefit in his first two years of school. However, as he progressed and turned six, school became a more serious thing. Unfortunatley, Terrance couldn't let go of his inner child and wasn't taking the education system seriously enough. There were a few occasions were there were tears - after all, Terrance couldn't understand why the teachers were giving him into trouble, he was just being who he was. Nonetheless, nothing serious ever happened to him because, as mentioned, he wasn't ever 'bad' and had no wrong intentions. This caused him to have many friends in school. Infact, he was popular and well known enough to avoid the hassle of bullies. The leap to upper school was no different and, while he was never the best acidemically, he remained the good guy - and his growing sense of humour was greatly appriciated by others.
However, it was as he turned sixteen he finally stopped and thought about things. At the rate he was going at in school, his future wasn't going to be as bright as he thought it would be. He began to get slightly worried around exams - which was unlike him - and he was even considering permanent jobs in stores and places like that. The past couple of years, however, he has been working hard, and can finally see something set for him withing the creative industries.
Appearance: Terrance is the average height for a teenager his age - that is, about 6 feet. He isn't particularly well built or muscular, infact he's pretty skrawny and almost 'lanky'. He dosen't appear to have much muscle to him at all, however he is still energetic. His skin isn't anyhting special - it's the same, pale colour it has always been as he dosen't particularly focus on giving it a nice tan. However, this has kept his skin nice and smooth over time and it is quite healthy. He has short, brown hair which hangs downwards (though not by much, considering its length). Facially, Terrance's expression always looks like he isn't worried at all. He has high cheekbones, his eyes are kept wide and his mouth usually finds itself in some sort of smile. This fun-loving look to him makes him appear slightly younger than he actually is.
His favourite colour is green, thus it shows in what he wears. He has a white, long sleeve shirt on with a royal green, short sleeved one over the top of that, unbuttoned. To match this, he wears a unique pear of trousers - they are black, however they have large green stripes around the legs and the waist. To complete his outfit, he wears green and white baseball boots, a green mens' dress hat, and a grey shoulder-bag.

9. The Corrupt Plague, Jeremy
Spoiler:
Name: Jeremy
Age: 16
School year: 10th
Sex: male
Personality: Jeremy is very shy, making an effort to stay away from parties and social gatherings, and when he is present, he is usually the one reading in the corner, alone. He has a lot of knowledge about pokemon, which is very handy when he is working at the pokemon center. He is somewhat antisocial and has very few friends, but the ones he does have are very nice to him and he is nice to them back. Over at school, he has a passion for learning, but he does find it somewhat boring and will occasionally crack jokes, jokes that put him in detention alot. His goal in life is to eventually graduate and become a pokemon researcher. Overall, he likes how his life is going.
History: For the most part, he was living an average life in the city. He never saw his parents, his mother and father died in a fire when he was 4, with whoever is responsible still at large. He went to live with his Grandparents. They were pretty good to him and they had a pretty good relationship. He had trouble making friends at school, only having a select few, but he made good grades in most of his classes over the years and still does, although he tends to be a bit of a clown. He makes his money by working part-time at the pokemon center, where he helps tend injured pokemon. He wishes to become a pokemon researcher and is studying pokemon very hard to reach that goal. One night, he went driving around town and his life changed forever...
Appearance: Jeremy is somewhat pale and he is a bit skinny, weighing in at about 140 pounds. His height is 5'9. He has messy brown hair that no matter what he tries, resists his efforts to stay tidy. He has pale, green eyes, and a serious acne problem. He also wears glasses and a generic brown jacket, which for some reason, he can't stand taking off. He also wears blue jeans and sneakers.
Favorite Morph: (He Can't decide between Charizard or Rhyperior.)
Favorite Battle Morph: Rhyperior (it is full of raw power and has almost impenetrable rock armor to boot, the perfect tank!)
Favorite Flight Morph: Charizard ( It can fly, breathe fire, and it is also great for battling.)
Least Favorite Morph: Grimer (Ugh! I'm never doing that one again, It stinks and it's covered in slime!)

Informational Form: I'm very familiar with Animorphs, having read at least a dozen books and the number is slowly increasing as I read more. I prefer to write in 3rd person and I do not want my character to take a leadership role, as I am not very good at that.

Sign-Up Sheet
Here is the sheet to fill out if you would like to join. You will play a human character who will have the ability to turn into Pokemon. Somehow, you'll find a way to become even the extinct and super mega ultra rare Pokemon. Legendaries, in this world, are treated like myths, though some (just some) aren't. Think Bigfoot or Mongolian Death Worm type things- some people say they exist, but most say they don't.
Playing Form - (the most basic information about your character)
Name: (sans last name. We wouldn't want the Yeerks to track our budding heroes down, would we?)
Age: (14-18)
School year: (9th, 10th, 11th, 12th)
Sex: (male or female- if you want a gay character, put it here too)
Personality: (how your character acts)
History: (what has happened to your character- lets try to make it realistic, OK? A certain amount of tragedy makes a character interesting, but being raised by wolves after being abandoned at birth is going a little overboard...)
Appearance: (how your character looks)
Favorite Morph: (This can be the same as a battle or flight morph, if you prefer- note that you don't start off with these morphs, but when you acquire them, you'll probably use them a lot)
Favorite Battle Morph:
Favorite Flight Morph:
Least Favorite Morph:
Morph Information (You don't need to fill this out now. When you want to acquire a new morph, post this form, filled out, in the OOC thread, and I'll give you the green light.)
Species: (species name)
Sex: (male or female; it will not always be the same as your character)
Attacks: (the moves your morph knows)
Other: (any other information about this morph)
School Form- (The characters all go to the same high school, so pick out some classes for your character to attend; depending on your age and school year, you might be skewed academically or you might have more courses for fun that serve as electives. If you will, make an attempt to have some classes with other characters. Being alone the entire school day is no fun, is it?)
