It was utter chaos. People- er- now Zigzagoon were running aimlessly around. Some growling in a pile of clothes, others fighting over some shiny thing. Completely stupid. I, on the other hand, was completely content chewing on the chip bag. A two hour deadline though? Seems kind of short. Not even enough time to take a nap.
It was kind of strange when that Ivan kid and- Peter, I think (I don't know, the kid said to call him "Puzzle), morphed back. Thank god I diverted my eyes in time. But, it reminded me that I would have to do it too, even if being a Zigzagoon was absolutely incredible. Still, I don't want to be stuck as one. Bottom of the food chain doesn't sound all that good anyways. Being chowed on by a Seviper is not on my "Top Ten ways to Die" List... not that I'd ever had a list like that.
Back to morphing though. I didn't even have a clue how I would go about it. Last time, that damn Zigzagoon bit me, so, judging by that flawed logic, I would have to bite myself as a human to become human again. I sighed at the stupidity of the idea, blaming the simple thinking of a Zigzagoon. Luckily, the more human side of me began to think, and I was able to figure it out rather quickly. Hopefully, if I thought of myself as a human, I would transform back. Before I attempted to, however, I made the executive decision to drag my pants and boxers into the woods out of view. If I changed back, I didn't want to do it right in front of everyone else. It would be kinda awkward. *cough* Ivan and Peter *cough* So, I did (don't worry, I put the half chewed Chip Bag in my "Redskin's" jacket pocket).
In the woods and finally out of site (even though it took me a good 2-3 minutes), I put my theory to work. The Zigzagoon in me wanted to flee away from the potential danger, going back to where the others were. However, with that thinking, I would never get back to being human, so, with a little more effort then I thought I would have to use, I managed to stay. Not wanting to loose the moment, I closed my eyes quickly begining to think of every detail of my old self. The familiar but strange feeling of morphing returned. It was like transforming into a Zigzagoon... only backwards. Probably the weirdest feeling was tied between all the hair disappearing, and my tail retracting. Not only that, but having the headband around my neck during the morph was... odd. Strange, because it didn't bother me turning into a Zigzagoon...
It seemed to be over rather quickly, maybe because it wasn't as exciting as morphing into a Pokemon, or maybe because the Zigzagoon-happy-drug wore off. In any case, out of sight, I quickly put on my boxers jeans before nonchalantly walking out of the woods, grabbing my Redskins sweatshirt and shirt and putting those on as well.
"Ah... Artic Aipom." I sighed and sat down on a bench, placing the earphone in my ear and watching the others run around. Heh. Now I could take mental notes on what they are doing... and maybe use it later.
