3rd Gen Pokenames what are yours

I was just curious what do you guys named your pokemon
if you do name them, I know some people don't...it makes
the pokemon more important to me somehow if I name it

I always try and use mytical names
here's a few of mine..


Gyarados - Nirti (hindu goddess of destruction)
Milotic - Samhain (sawh-woon - celtic goddess of winter)
Gardevoir - Titania (from shakespeare, the fairy queen)
Slaking - Moog (ok...not a mytical name but it my favorite word)
Torkoal - Morla (big turtle from the never ending story)
Explaoud - Gimla (nordic mytical horn, announces ragnarak 'the end')
Raichu - Thor (nordic god of thunder, protector of warriors)
Magneton - Odin (all father nordic god of creation and of the winter)
Seviper - Khali (Hindu goddess of death)
Zangoose - Americus (not mytical but it's shiny and looks like the use flag)

Older version names

Espeon - Isis (egyptian queen of the gods, she had a cats head)
Umbreon - Bastet (egyptian cat goddess, she didn't look like a cat)
Ursaring - Baloo (from tale spin)
Meganium - Flora (latin , it means flower)
Venusaur - Ivy (it's a toxic plant)
Zapdos - Mjolnir (thors hammer)
Dragonite - Draco (latin, it means dragon)

and I didn't do lots of homework, i'm just into mythology

R- Chris (my best friend)
B- Jesse (my best friend)
Y- Aaron (Me)
G- Daniel (dorky friend, very cool)
S- Iara (a girl I know who plays)
C- Clair ('cuz dragons rule)
R- Jesse (still my best friend)
S- Chris (still my best friend too)

I named my rival "IDIOT" in some game... i dont change pokemon names, dont come up with good names :P wow, vanirelf you have made your schoolwork..... i didnt know half of them....

;) I looooove naming my pokemon. I often use names from a favorite book called Sabriel. The names of the bells are just sooooo cool looking. A 99 cent baby name book that I have left over from a high school project proves useful too. Also, some names sound really good for certain pokemon. I think cute, short, 4-letter names are good for igglybuff.

And my persons name in Sapphire is VowlSas(Girl),and in Ruby its Nick(Boy)

Mmm. My person's name in ruby is Rabid (a boy). I don't actually have sapphire. So.. :) My starter is named Korey (my cousin named it after himself. :P little punk.. heh. I could always change it, but anyways).

I name my pokes with names like Shadow, Shady, Dark...

The best names I've come up with are Satan's Little Helper for my precious houndoom (who was unfortunately deleted :'( ) and Burnout and Chronic, my pothead Charizard and Venusaur.

um.. my pokemon names are in my sig and i have a few more where i just used numbers (like blastoise is BL45T015E) and my charachter name is Big****, and encase it puts stars instead of the second word, the first letter is S the second letter is L the third letter is U and the fourht is T

p.s u cant even fit satanslittlehelper as a nickname

Hey, does anyone have a good name for a steelix?

Oi... People who name their Pok?mon...
Don't you ever learn? Who actually remembers their names?
You could put "Anakaris", your Dusclops in the PC and never find your Dusclops again.
Remember kids, whatever you do, don't be like Richie.
He was accused of using his Charmander (and evolutions),
who he named "Zippo" as a "lighter" to support his underage smoking habit.
He was later thrown into juvenile detention for something he didn't do.

Hey, does anyone have a good name for a steelix?

Well, if the Pok?mon games didn't have such small name possibilities,
I'd suggest "Solid Snake".
It's the name of a character from a game called Metal Gear Solid.
I know I just ranted about naming Pok?mon,
but I mean one or two is fine.
I only name my first one, though.
My Blaziken's name is StarFyre. It's cool. lol

i put stupids names to my pokemons i put to my wobuffet:cabedson
fearligatr (the one from collosuem): o,mega.
then for a twovs battle i put to my wishcash : im your and to my quagsire:father
so when they come out it says im your father.
