Swampert: Catfish
Skarmory: Skarmony
Mightyena: Hyenadon
Swellow: Spinetail
Totodile: Lockjaw
Delcatty: Sekhmet
Kingdra: Weedy
Zigzagoon: Raccoondog
Trapinch: Antlion
Jumpluff: Lion
Dustox: Dusty
etc.

Often I name them their Japanese name. Or what animal/plant they are based off eg. Cacturne= Cactus
 
I cant ever think of them at the time...but right after i think of one...but i dont feel like takin the time to go to the name rater

My Blaziken is named in Firebird... ^^ And I take always the girl player, and it's always called Phoenix...:P

My Typhlosion is Firestorm, and my Magicarp is called Idiot. It was so annoying train it to Gyarados, so I went to NameRater...^^

Oddish is called "AAAAAAA", Cause I was catching Pikachu's and those stupid oddish camed to my way. I catched them, and they were called "AAAAAA". I released them at last.

My Goldeen is called Silver, how imagineble... Kecleon is Licky.
 
Well I as only like 8 when I got my pokemon red game so I kinda gave them jibberish names

Ya... I noticed that horrible typo...but I was too lazy to fix it. What I meant to say is that I have a magneton named Magneto...that was once a magnemite. Somehow that got garbled. o.O Must've been sleepy.
