hi i have a question about it
i heard if the pokemon had PKRS in it stats box then lose it over midnight and get the smile face. it still gets the double EV but cant spread it. is this correct?

Not if it is in your box, if a Pokemon is in your party with PKRS and the time turns midnight (your DS does not have to be on), your Pokemon will lose PKRS. It will be "cured" and get a :| face. It will still get double EVs, but can't spread PKRS. To prevent this, keep a Pokemon with PKRS in your box because the boxes freeze time.
