Aah. Just downloaded chapter 1 of volume twelve and noticed a mistake on page 11 - in the middle two bubbles, it doesn't quite make sense ("Suicune can tell this old is no match for him" and "That's what he built this sad sculpture to make himself seem more famous".).
In case someone wanted to fix it :).

@benji: AHAHAHAAA I'm more of a graphic designer than a developer, so >_>; But, haha, awesome! your work is greaaat~ win for short domain names~~~ I don't know as much PHP as I would like, so I don't really see myself making those changes in the near future >_>; Unless you want to XD
@ladygalaxy: Meanings would probably be more relevant, considering that the Korean sound is different from the original Japanese sound anyway. ^^

So my friend I mentioned apparently decided to surprise everyone over at the other place and just scanned 4 more chapters (So for us that's 3-6) and is uploading them in a rar now - no idea how long that'll take. Will share with you guys when that's done. He also said he found a better way to do it so he got all 4 of those chapters in about 30 minutes...he might even get the remaining 6 in volume 12 tonight. He was gonna go scan more now but someone else is using the computer the scanner's attached to he said.

Nightwizard, do you know what volumes your friend has, and if he has plans to scan them at all? I'm thinking we're going to have to go ahead and drop volume 12 AGAIN, and I don't want to start on another volume if someone's just going to scan it. >< I'm starting to wonder what the point of all of this is... (We've had volumes 10 and 11 already pulled out from under us, and now volume 12. Note that all of this has only happened since we started this attempt in DECEMBER 2007; from 2000ish to 2007, no one scanned in anything for more than half a decade!, but within 3 months, suddenly everyone wants to scan in all of their books.)

For the record, I am going to say that we will not drop volume 12 until these scans actually show up on the internet. However, would it be all right with all involved parties if volume 12 is put on indefinite hiatus if and when that time comes? You may continue working on it if you reaaaaaally want to, but I most certainly will not press you. If and when the scans are made available, we will decide if we are going to continue with the group onto volume 13 or not.

@minakichan: Yeah, I was pretty much thinking of those for the replacements. Glad that they're going to be corrected, though *is an English freak*. Was it QC'd, out of curiousity?
And that's gutting about the other scans. Still. PokéSpe may be higher quality.

The reason it probably keeps happening is that you guys take so long to do it since you're translating from another language and all that while these people are just scanning on the C-Y volumes. Like I said in my previous post he's able to get 4 chapters up and in good enough quality (Except for the middle edge of the right page which is a bit blurry but still readable) in 30 minutes. I'm pretty sure he has most of the remaining volumes and odds are he'll end up doing 13 and 14 at the least though I can't be sure - he's planning on moving the scanner from a rather busy room to his own room too in a couple days which would also give him more time to scan as well =/

Yeah I'd just link them all like that except the board we're at has it's own image uploader and is a private board so you can't view the images unless you have an account there and I don't want to go through and save them all myself...

Concerning the recent events: Considering that Nightwizard's friend may be scanning in volumes 12-14, that volumes 15 and 21 were just released by Avagaille, and that she may have plans to scan in volume 20 and 22, the fandom will basically have volumes 1-22 complete within the span of a couple of months at the latest. In such a case, the original goal of PokeSpe Scanlations (to provide scanlations for volumes 10-17 and 21-23, none of which even existed three months ago) will basically be complete. (I'm sure Maxim is laughing at us somewhere.) The only volumes that we can still work on are volume 23, and the 25+ scans that may be coming in; we do not have a translator lined up for volume 23 (which is watermarked anyway), and as of the time of this writing, there are no concrete plans for the subsequent volumes.
I would like to think, despite the fact that my high school statistics teacher insisted that correlation does not imply causation, that our beginning this project had something to do with the rapid recent developments-- that plans or fulfillments of scanning 13 books between volumes 10 and 22 suddenly materialized in the matter of a few months-- because that's just A CRAZY COINCIDENCE. I don't want to kill off the project prematurely, but if this is the beginning of the end, I want to say that it's been a great ride, and a thousand thanks to those who have expended immense time and effort into our little endeavor; I'm sorry about the waste.
If this is NOT the end-- if the scanning fall through, or, more importantly, more likely, and more fortunately, if people still want to work on volumes 23+ -- then yoroshiku onegaishimasu, as always.

I have volume 28, but it isn't in Japanese. Couldn't get the Japanese version.
So far, I haven't done a lot of translation, busy life here and there, let alone scan the volume.
What language is it?
I still would love to see it, regardless of language.

Alright guys, my friend finished scanning the last chapters of 12 last night since he put them up on our boards around 2-3am EST, but for some reason he hasn't uploaded them in a rar yet (Which I honestly don't get since it takes like < 2 minutes of his time then just leaving his computer on...) so I'll post again when the rar's up whenever that is.

First of all let me say that I AM SO SORRY FOR BEING GONE SO LONG!!!!:'(
Between school, practicing for a prestigious scholarship that I had to buy a suit for, being accepted into UF (Gator Nation, baby!), obsessing over Rock Band with my friends, salivating over videos of Super Smash Bros. Brawl on youtube (hurry up March 9th!!!!!), and other facets of every day life I've had a little trouble QCing in the past month.
First, let me apologize to you Mina, as I noticed that you were having trouble finding people to QC for awhile. Second, let me say thanks to vampirepeaches for picking up the slack for myself and Willer. Third, let me thank the entire staff (translators, cleaners, editors, and whoever I missed) for sacrificing your life to bring such a great manga to those less fortunate folks in Europe, Australia, the Americas, and where else. Fourth, allow me to thank Nightwizard and his friend for sharing their Chuang-Yi scans with us as well as any others who have done so as well.
Some may think that our actions were in vain with the sudden surge of scans currentlly available on the net, but I for one believe that it was Mina's noble goal combined with everyone's hard work, determination, dedication, and perseverance that inspired people to come forth and share their scans with the community. The same spirit that first inspired all of us to come together on this project is what in the end has brought our goal to fruition. However, this isn't the end. There are plenty of unreleased volumes out there, and there may be still be a chance that some of those promised won't materialize (god forbid). In some way or another, I believe that there will always be a need for people like this scanlation team; people with a common interest willing to come together in order to do something that will benefit all. Despair not; not a single second of our work was or will be in vain!
As for me, my mind's made up: I'm here to stay! So if you need any Quality Control then look no further. I'm standing by and ready to go!
