    Pokemon General -> Sub-Category: PokeTheories.

    It'd be nice to have a place where we can view them all, rather than having to look though all the threads to find the good ones.

    P.S. GastlyGhastly for PokeTheories Sectional Moderator if it gets added. :3

    I think you'd be taking a big chunk from the main forum by making a subforum for theories though. Perhaps a "Theory" prefix would help the search, but I don't think a whole subforum dedicated to theories is the right move for PG.

    Also, a moderator for a subforum isn't necessary when there's already two moderators for Pokemon General as a whole. They wouldn't be removed from that one subforum. They'd be modding the forum in its entirety, similar to how they both mod Pokemon Voting Polls within Pokemon General.

    While it is an interesting idea, only 6 of the 50 most recent threads posted in Pokemon General are actually based upon Pokemon theories- not nearly enough to warrant its own sub-section. Now, if a new sub-forum were to be dedicated to them, I don't doubt there'd be a fair amount of activity to start, but I just don't know if it could sustain it.

    Syd does bring up an interesting point about a theory prefix though. We added [Manga] after the closure of Pokemon Manga/Comics for easy access, so I wouldn't have a problem doing the same with a [Theory] prefix to make searching for them easier.

    I'm not sure I think even a prefix would be necessary since it's sometimes difficult to say what is a theory and what is... something else. And not always necessary to define it even! But since it's been popular to type "PokéTheory:" or similar things in front of thread titles lately, it surely can't hurt to try a prefix and see if it helps. But yeah, a new subforum isn't necessary since PGen's flash banner even states that theories already belong in the main section.
