    Long time no see,

As the title says, Cygwin refuse to compile my project because many pages uses a Yen (¥) symbol, and it is apparently not an UTF-8 character. However, in Pokered/PokeYellow, this symbol is necessary since it shows the PokéDollar symbol in-game. Is there something I must do? Or something I did wrong?

You can use <ED> to print the pokedollar symbol.

EDIT: I'm not entirely sure why does this work. I tried it on a whim, and realistically, it should just be the ED character you see in the naming screen, but whatever I guess.

Thanks. Now I'm trying to add gender selection to the old version of Pokeyellow, found here: (URL REMOVED, no longer on GitHub)
I'm using the old decomp files because the new decomp has NO tutorials, only the older one does. I'm stuck to find pic/trainer/redb.pic in all .asm files. I do have the sprites for the female trainer, but I can't find the text to put the back sprite of the female trainer. I dunno where it is located, though... (NOT the .png file, but the string text ''pic/trainer/redb.pic'')

EDIT - Nevermind... my PC caught a virus (ransomware) that deleted the decomp files on my PC... Now the only way for me to do a proper Yellow hack is to use the newest decomp by Pret. However, is there any tutorials out there on how to add a gender on PokeYellow? I'd be very grateful if yes.
