Pokgear safe?

    Is Pokgear safe? Like does the programm do anything to your 3DS? And that hex-string you have to enter into the URL, does that contain any info about where you are or other? Just wanna' know if it's scetchy business. Literally 90% of anything I do is asking if it's safe or not.
     
    Are you talking about the PKHeX injector? I've used it before; so long as you follow the directions for injection, it's fine. Worst-case-scenario, you'll mess it up and either not receive a Pokemon, or else you'll receive a different Pokemon than what you injected.

    The alternative is homebrewing your system and using a different injection method, as outlined here. That has its own set of risks, however, so if you spend 90% of your time asking if that process is safe, you won't get anywhere.
     
    don't u have to pay to buy pokemon from pokegear? those pokemon aren't even legit. i don't see why you'd pay for non legit pokemon. if you're really that desperate then get powersaves. just don't trade your hacked pokemon here....
     
    I'm pretty sure injecting was 'patched' in the new software update for the 3ds, and I have that. I don't know much about the Pokemon hacking business, and I don't want to use any competitively. I have a bet with my friend that I have a shiny mew, obviously I don't but it's $10 and I wanted to hack it

    you're trying to win 10dollars off a friend? o.o gts has loads of hacked shiny mews lol
     
    From the start, the issue is that you shouldn't bet on something you know you won't win, or are pretty unsure of winning. But hey, you're locked in, so just homebrew your DS through browserhax and use the injector in the link in my first post...
