Poll: How many pokemon generations do you see Nintedo making

i wish they would have stopped making new generations after ruby and sapphire. i dont think i like any of the pokemon in fourth generation, even though the game was pretty good. i think they should keep making games, but not new pokemon. like a new story with 250 pokemon of the current 493. kind of like what ruby and sapphire and emerald did. they took a little from gen 1 and 2 and made some for gen 3 and it was a great game.

I think that after they get to around 1000 pokemon,they should just keep introducing new regions with new storylines.

Bad idea. The most fun thing about a new Pokemon generation is going into the long grass and catching brand new Pokemon, and working out how to use them effectively. Pokemon would be nothing without that.

I don't think they'll ever stop. As long as it keeps making them wads and wads of cash, they'll keep milking it with new games every year and new sets of Poke every couple of years. Personally don't mind though, keeps my hobby going. =P

I want them to go to 10 so we can call it Generation X; it just sounds cool.

Firstly, about the whole Animals and Plants thing you just did, well it's useless in this scenario, because Pokemon started doing body parts a long time ago. Aipom, Lickitung.

Anyways, I think they'll stop at about 600 or some solid 100 number. They can only go so long until they get stale sadly. I wish they would stop focuasing on cranking out new Pokemon every 20 minutes and continue with Re-Dos. I'd like to see a remake of Pokemon Snap. That alone would make me buy a Wii. I also had an idea for a Pokemon Day-Care game. Anyways, they will probably stop soon sadly... the last region will likely be based off of northern Japan. So north of Johto-Kanto. And I'm sick of people calling Kanto Pokemon Island. It's not an Island! It's part of a small continent similar to Japan.

I think there will be 6 or 7. Of course, I don't want it to end, but the revealing of Zoroark has shown that they're running out of ideas. They ran out of ideas with the 4th Gen too. A fridge with eyes? Brrrr.
