Possible concern with PC Families and the Pairing system..

I think it's kinda stupid to have a family on PC but that's just my opinion. I did use to think it was a good idea, but when I actually think about it, everyone here is probably related to one another. And I've seen how PC families can cause such a big deal, because my friend found out that he couldn't get married to his pair because she was his sister??? I think it's ridiculous IMO.

I'd like to add to your concerns by reminding you that Andy is his own grandpa, just because I can.

Kudos to Kurono for such a funny thread. I can't tell if you were acting serious and trying to be funny or just being serious, either way, this thread is totally funny to me. The idea of various people at PC becoming family and the pairing, which in turn leaves them suseptable to incest is just hilarious. God bless PC. *happily sighs*
It was serious, but due to the variations of families and pair-ups that have resulted, it does turn out rather funny.

With that being said, the family system is comparable to a friend list. In contrast to having a long, pell-mell list of friends on your profile, however, families often are more closely knit, barring the fact that some have never even heard of each other. They're the ones that you more often than not have the assurance that you'll get a reply from in the conversational atmosphere. Yet you have to liaise to be part of it, and you can include just about everybody and give them just about any disposition you please — there's one family in which Kylie-chan is a grandmother!

Pairs, though, are figments of infatuation in my opinion that tend to fizzle out after a period of time. Often they do not work out — and it surprises me how emotionally rent some people are about dissolution of a pair — and in cases like Kelsey and Jorge, they mesh very well. It's a rarity, however, that they ever turn serious beyond the computer screen; yet, I know on PKMN.NET there was a hullabaloo about a new member and a (now retired) moderator pairing, engaging, and later having a baby.

Well i really don't findit odd.
With a pair thread and family thread it was going ot happen.
really just way to have fun on a forum so i find nothing odd about it.
I also find it funny. I manr to think out all the links with family and pairs.
Also can take awhile towork out all the links and lines.
Don't think can really get bothered. This is not real life or real blood lines after all.

Better yet, make that revamp a big integration. We'll expand on the favourite Pokémon and Friends list and have members tap in their bishounen, and then let them tap in their pair and associate them as such. Meh, loads of grubby hacking work.
