Lugia (unsure, might do it just because GSC was the only game I used a legendary as part of my main team)

I was originally going to choose a Typhloison, but then I remember that I always used to choose Totodile as a young kid, so I've decided (for the time being) to start with a Totodile. I'm gonna add an Arcanine to my team (unless he's a HeartGold exclusive, in which case I don't know what to do), and I'll definitely have a Mareep because Ampharos just rocks. I'm gonna add an Espeon because I've never trained one, and a Pidgeot, because I always had a Pidgey and it's my favourite bird type ever. Don't know what to do for the final position, if I get SoulSilver, might give it to Lugia :P (Or Togekiss, if you get a Togepi in game and you can evolve Togeticduring the main story into a Togekiss).

I'm not really going to use SS if I get it, probably just transfer the starters/legends/certain Johto's to Pt. I really hope though that the Generation 4 evolutions won't be kicked out. I remember how po'd i was when my Chansey didn't evolve in LeafGreen.

I was talking to my friend about my team line-up and he asked that it wasn't possible to do across region trading early, I only thought that affected Sinnoh-native Pokemon, but if you trade a Johto or Kanto-native Pokemon you are able to trade...but I dunno

lol, I feel liek Ash, always changing team line-up everytime he goes to a new region.
 
Guys, if they're smart they'll include the evolution rocks/Mt. Coronet's replacement spawn in Kanto (when you'll have National). Don't you worry about that.

Err, team again...let me rethink...
Meganium (sweeper for the beginning, then maybe wall later. Might stay sweeper "for da lolz".)
Umbreon (obvious...)
Togekiss (was it NP sweeper? The popular set)
Electivire (mixed)
Forretress (Rapid Spin/support, more attacking cause I don't do competitive much)
Last might be Blissey or Rhyperior or something. I'll consider, cause my team is pretty much defensive for someone who prefers offline game.
