Power off

Sometimes when I'm playing my older games and the cart accidentally taps something, like my laptop, it freezes. Happened the other day when I was grinding levels in Gold. :(

This sometimes happens when I am playing GBC games on my SP.

But I have turned my game off without saving when I have been very tired or it has run out. Frustrating to the maximum.

DS/GBA? Probably not. Back in the day of the GB Pocket however... At first I didn't have any rechargeable batteries for a while for some reason, so of course I wanted to use even the last bit of energy left in almost empty batteries. Which inevitably led to many, many of these situations. Eventually I developed a habit of saving very frequently when the battery was running low, so it usually wasn't that bad - my most frustrating savegame experiences are not from power issues but from accidentally saving over an awesome savefile during some experiment (not sure if I ever did that in Pokemon though)

I never had any problems with not saving the data, but powering off would always happen when I play at nights lying on my bed. I'll experience a micro sleep then I'll save just in case and next thing I know I open my eyes in the morning with a turned off open DS right beside me, I wouldn't worry though since I save frequently when I'm tired...

This has never happens to me, as I'm quite wary about the battery life of my 3DS. Seriously, if the indicators on a console are flashing red, I'm gonna think that it needs a trip to the nearest electrical plug.

I've fallen asleep a few times when I've been playing Pokémon and awoken to a Gameboy with a flat battery. I'm normally really cautious with the power though.

I HAVE HAD many incidents where my game turned off at important times

My worst:

I was playing emerald and i finally beat norman. Since it took 20 minutes i naturally had to use the restroom i left my gameboy sp on the bed and when i came back the gameboy sp was broke. My brother ,who had an atitude with me, broke my game while i was gone

Most recent:

Just envolved elekid all the way to electivire in platinum i "accidentaly" fell asleep and the game turned off overnight rage against playing platinum is still raging over three weeks
