Would this device possibly work with regular DS games too, or is it only for 3ds? this could be a good deal if I can use it to clone on all my Pokemon games, and not just XY

The card will most likely fill the entire 3ds card slot ( you might be able to use ds games on it, with the 3ds... like black/white 2 ... maybe... im guessing it will take the ds card the same as the 3ds takes the ds card )
If I remember correctly there is already a 3ds AR that supports bw2
 
Just place my order for only $22.99 off Amazon while eBay as their's at $29.99. :D Can't beat that.

I'll post up pictures of my shiny legendary mons when I receive it. Estimated delivery says sometime around Feb. 4 - Mar. 4. I'm stoked!

Especially since the product is already released (since December), available on Amazon, ebay, and whatnot, so most likely gamestop will never carry it (probably due to lack of any preorders/interest), also evident by the lack of any product info, not even SKU/UPC information.



Actually it doesn't matter what version of 3DS or DS you have because this device does not connect to your DS at all. Instead you hook it up to your computer via USB, then slip your game cartridge (where the pokemon save file is located) in it. Basically it's a save game editor.. So only requirement for this to work is you need to own the cartridge version of Pokemon X/Y, if you downloaded it from the eshop, unfortunately you can't use this.



It doesn't hook up to the 3DS at all. so doesn't fill any card slot :P so it will work with any DS as it modifies the gamecard's savefile itself.

That's pretty cool, I don't see myself paying 30 bucks for this, but for the ppl interested in it it sounds sweet

Not even. It's 22.99 off Amazon which isn't bad at all. I decided to get mine before the price jumps up like it did for the EZ Flash IV Flashcart for the GBA consoles.

Do you know if we're able to trade these locked shiny legends?
 
I bought mine on thursday, but the person I got it from (It's nationwidedistributorgroup, I personally don't recommend them), hasn't even shipped it yet, they printed the label on friday and did nothing with it so far. (They are from cali, might be the one someone else was talking about before)


They then went on to tell me that it's being shipped tomorrow and that they process in one day which is a lie.

I could somewhat understand this for free shipping, but I paid extra money for priority shipping, which is total bs.

Other than that, I can't wait.

I already know it hooks up to the PC and not the 3ds/ds/whatever. I was asking if the device works with regular DS games, or if it onl takes 3ds games.
 
When I first saw those shiny legendaries I thought it was a troll.
Now I'm upset it's not.

Also as a word of caution, probably wouldn't stick any shiny 6th gen legendaries on GTS or take them into online battle, same goes with the latis megastones.. as you dont' want to risk getting caught or something.. at least not until they become so common that GameFreak couldn't justify dishing out warnings or bans to anyone as it would be too many and commonplace.

That's if they even have such a system to catch these... probably not. but better to be safe than sorry.

Oh ok. Thanks for the heads up. You wouldn't even recommend using it against passer-by online challanger?
 
I have a question, would I be able to back up my file, delete it start a new game and then restore it whenever I wanted to?

It actually in fact made me regret wiping my Save and restarting my Pokemon X game literally the morning of the same day I first heard about this product a few hours later D:!

Wouldn't that mess up the game sync? All my items would and Pokemon still be there?

That's not a bad price, I probably still won't get it though, pkmn is the only Nintendo title I play and I just dropped a whole lot of cash on an Xbox one, call of duty ghosts and my destiny per order... kinda wayyyy over did my video game budget but taxes only come once a year so might as well right. Now I gotta sale my ps3...frustrations.
Any who... I don't see what use it would be to me, I haven't used an a.r. since white version ( I was away from pkmn for a while and didn't know the Americas was getting so many event poke these days ) so when they started distribution of legit events, my ar started collecting dust, I usually still make off with 3 to 4 legit copies of events though BC I'll restart one of my game cards and get a lot of them
As far as shiny legends probably missing out there, but eh oh well

Your Entire Inventory of Pokemon. Basically the way to clone with Power Saves is as seen in one of the posted videos above:

1. Back up your save file using Power Saves.
2. Deposit 100% of your boxes into the Pokemon Bank (or just the Pokemon you want to clone).
3. Restore your backed up save file (which also restore those Pokemon you just deposited).
4. Transfer back the Pokemon from the Bank, repeat process as necessary, and enjoy your clones.

Haha Same here for me! I ordered mine on Friday morning. Decided to pay for 2 day shipping cause I worked later that day. Can make back the money. It said item was shipped but won't get the item till maybe Wednesday or Thursday?? If Thursday, I'm going to be mad!!!

Since I can back up my sav file and just start a new game and switch between them. I wonder if I can get a few savs for TSV. I don't plan on using the shiny code. It's not fun.

Yup! I used the R4 for previous generations. So I had back up savs for everything. And now for gen 6, it saves me time. And I can have different sav files all saved at certain points in the game. Like catching the legendaries and such. But mainly have a few TSV haha XD
 
Hacking shiny legendaries isn't something I care much about.....but having save backups sounds really interesting. Not sure if it's 20-30 euro interesting but still...

So using this you could pretty much have multiple save files?
 
You can use them in Wi-Fi battles with your friends though right?
