This team rocketed me to fifty-third on the Shoddy ladder if anybody's wondering. Has beaten Dormin Arisen, anajalim (well, technically it's still 1-1), and Jabba before, so I'm pretty happy with it. Nevertheless, improvement calls. Now that the bragging and stuffs is done, RMT... or else.
Gengar @ Leftovers - Kenyans!
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
-Substitute
-Hypnosis
-Shadow Ball
-Focus Blast
This actually works. Sure, I miss Thunderbolt too, but Hypnosis and a few Shadow Balls to the face does the same thing to Gyarados. =P This thing killed a Blissey once. Which was totally cool.
Magnezone @ Leftovers - Everything you ever wanted. came. in. a. ROCKET CAN!!!
Nature: Modest
EVs: 172 HP, 252 Special Attack, 84 Speed.
-Thunderbolt
-HP Ice
-Magnet Rise
-Substitute
Bronzong can suck a lemon. So can Skarmory... and Metagross. Anyways, it kills things. A neat side effect is that it can actually fight non-EQ Gyarados. =P Some special offense is cool.
Garchomp @ Choice Band - It's like adding chocolate to an electrical storm!
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
-Earthquake
-Dragon Claw
-Outrage
-Fire Fang
CBChomp is fuuuun! I may try ScarfChomp, but 2HKO'ing Cress is pretty interesting for now. Dragon Claw's mainly so I don't die to Mamoswine Ice Shard so early in the game.
Swampert @ Leftovers - Win at everything forever! Running, football, arson, weddings...
Nature: Careful
EVs: 240 HP, 44 Defense, 212 Special Defense
-Rest
-Sleep Talk/Avalanche
-Waterfall
-Curse
I was talked into using this considering my team's got those Weavile/Tar issues and I needed recovery. Awesome. I may consider replacing the replacement of Sleep Talk for Avalanche or something, considering that Dragons can be rather dangerous to this team.
Gyarados @ Choice Scarf - Too energetic for normal sports!
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 80 HP, 252 Attack, 176 Speed
-Waterfall
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake
-Ice Fang
Surprisingly, this is my answer to several things my team has issues answering. It provides a reasonably safe switch-in to Swine, Ape, and even other Gyarados. Don't knock it 'till trying it.
Tyranitar @ Life Orb - Aaaaauuuugggghhh!!!
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 4 HP, 252 Attack, 252 Speed
-Dragon Dance
-Crunch
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake
Awesomest ever late-game sweeper. Pwns j00. 'Nuff said. Seriously, though, this thing tends to take out at least two Pokemon per game. More if conditions are good.
