[Spoilers] Predict Best Wishes by the end of 2012.

As the title implies at what point do you think we will be at in Best Wishes by the end of 2012? Any major events that you will think happen from now until then? What do you think the team make up will be by the end of the year for the main cast(yes another one of these questions, which I will probably make an official topic for later). Generally if you were to do a short time line where we would end up from now until then.

Since we are almost in Mistralton City which we will get to by at least BW069 that Ash will get his 6th badge a one or a few episode(s) after the Cilan vs. Skyla episode. With all this being said there are certain factors that will probably effect were we are by the end of the year that being specials like Naruto that cause Pokemon to skip a week. Some times they have two episodes in on week like Subway Episodes, sometimes there are no episodes due to Holidays so altogether we can probably rule out a month which is usually four episodes. Then you have wonder when or if they will implement the Plasma vs. Rocket episodes. Also if they wait until say post league to reintroduce Team Plasma(which I think they will do by Dragon Spiral Tower). So for me a rough time line goes something like this.

~BW070 - Ash battles Skyla and wins sixth badge.
March
~BW071 - 075: they explore the area maybe visit Celestial Tower, some developement episode for Swadloon since it is shown to evolve to Leavanny. They could go to Mistralton Cave, but for me that seems doubtful so they will probably continue around Route 7 maybe meet up with Alder or Trip.
April
~BW076 - 81: Explore Twist Mountain, seems like filler episodes in between Misralton and Icirrus, possible development of pokemon.
May
~BW082-86: Gets to Icirrus meets up with Brycen but can't challege due to Team Plasma, after that they go to Dragon Spiral Tower and begin a Team Plasma arc. Cedric shows back up, and tells Ash and Co. more about Zekrom and Reshiram and what they may be facing. I could see Aurea and Bianca there as well. Alder helps them fight team Plasma hopefully we get to see Volcarona.
June
~BW087-91: Ash battles Brycen and wins his Seventh Badge, guessing they change ending theme around this time, Ash and co. explore Moor of Icirrus/Route 8, rival encounter for Iris or Cilan, more character development either new moves, evolution, ect.
July
~BW092-96: Tubeline Bridge episode, maybe some bikers since they are on Route 9, feeling some fillers, Iris development since we are getting closer to Ocelucid City.
August
~BW097-101: They arrive in Ocelucid City and meet Drayden. they take a detour to Iris home town that maybe be located around there Ocelucid, Ash and Iris battle it out(for badge maybe? Or perhaps for a right to fight Drayden). Regardless whom Ash faces I see him winning his final badge here. Expecting some more rival appearances around this time.
September
BW102-106: Lead up to the League, Ash does some training blah blah blah, evolutions, rival encounters, maybe Team Plasma(unless they wait post league).
October
BW107-111: League preliminarily begins(Ash uses only Unova pokes and Pika), Round 1, and 2, shows some other battles outside of Ashes i.e. Trip, Bianca, Stephen(if he is around at this point still).
November
BW112-116: League still continues, round 3 and 4, getting to late rounds, league wraps up.

I could probably see a long way between Mistralton and Iccirus or Ocelucid. So their may be a lot more episodes then I thought or guessed. What's different from the past Series in Unova is that the 7th Gym in Snowpoint is on the other side of Sinnoh of where Sunyshore the 8th Gym is located. Iccirus and Ocelucid don't have that far of distance, not to mention Route 9 is pretty short. If they finished as soon as I said they would definitely need an extensive post main story or post league arc. Since around that time BW would be 3 years old and the Gens usually run 4 years.

Team Make Up by the end of the year seems like it could look somewhat like this.

Ash

- Obviously keeping...

- Confirmed

- Kind of iffy on this. I want to see at least on evolution, but it may end up being Piplup 2.0. Love to see it evolve all the way.

- It evolving first leads me to believe that it will go all the way to Emboar, not to mention Ash history with Fire types.

- I never got the feeling Snivy was going to evolve, although I can definitely see it go to Servine, pending on how it's handled later on. It hasn't really done too hot, kind of off and on at times.

- I believe fully that Scraggy with evolve at some point, but before the end of the year that may be a different story.

- Confirmed

- For me a lot of this hinges on what they do with Oshawott. If he doesn't evolved period I'd be strongly inclined to believe he evolves into Seismitoad. Again this also may be past this year as well.

- I always felt we would get Gigalith, so maybe a trade evo with Trip by around the end of the year.

- I could see Krokorok evolve again, but before the year and league is over I dunno...

Iris

- I feel at some point Axew will evolve, maybe at or around 8th Gym.

- Her equivalent of Pikachu(in terms of first post)

- Gonna stay

- Maybe encounters another Deino, since I have real doubts about being united with the other one.

Cilan

- Personally I see no need to evolve Pansage, it's already strong. I can go either way on this.

- Powerhouse of course!

- Smexy guy is staying.

- Seems so Cilan like due to the elegance of said pokemon. Maybe Skyla gives him hers to take care of or something like that. If not I see something making a fourth slot like Heatmor, Durant, Mienfoo, or something.

I want to know what happens after the league. No remakes are said to be out so Hoenn is not going to be an arc again. Wonder if Ash wins the league and tries the chammpanionship league.

I read somewhere that the season still has 1 more year after 2012. But I am not sure. But that was off topic. I'll read more on your thread in a sec.

I thinking all of Ash's pokemon will eveolve other then Snivy. I get the sense Snivy and Palpitoad will go up against Trip's Serperior and win. I really love how Palpitoad is. I don't think it should evolve. I really hope Tepig eveolves fully along with Oshawott. And I would love love love for Krokorok to evolve fully.

I really hope Iris gets a Deino and evolves it fully. I think we will see her catch a total of 6 pokemon at least due to the fact every person who has traveled with Ash has caught 6 or more.

Cilan I am hopeing he evos Pansage. And same as the rest,I can see Cilan also catching at least 6 pokemon. I am thinking that pokeball mushroom pokemon.

Here's my predicted timeline based on first post. I've been watching a lot of AG lately, so this first part might sound a bit like the Dewford Island arc. Basing this on Bulbapedia's numbering which doesn't count the unaired Team Plasma arc.

BW068 - Ash battles Skyla but loses.
March
BW069-073: Explores the area between Twist Mountain and Mistralton, maybe some development of Pokemon and hopefully an evolution of some sort.
April
BW074-79: More exploration, leading up to Ash winning the gym battle in BW078. Afterwards, sets off for Icirrus.
May
BW080-84: Heads north through Twist Mountain. Hopefully some development on Boldore and possibly an evolution. Gets to Icirrus in BW085 meets up with Brycen but can't challege due to Team Plasma, after that they go to Dragon Spiral Tower and begin a Team Plasma arc of some sort in BW084.
June
BW085-89: Finish Team Plasma arc in BW085, and then challenges Brycen in BW086, wins, and heads for Route 8. Palpitoad's evolution possibly at Moor of Icirrus in BW089.
July
BW090-94: They'll cross Tubeline Bridge in BW090, and BW091 will probably have bikers, and arrival in Opelucid City in BW092. BW093 is a probable filler episode/Iris catching a Deino and BW094 is the final battle against Drayden, since as we all know, Ash is playing Pokemon Black.
August
BW095-99: BW095-98 lead up to the league, maybe an evolution. In BW099, Bianca, Trip, Burgundy, Stephan and Luke probably appear again along with some of Ash's old Pokes. Hoping for an evolution of one of them. (Gible?)
September
BW100-104: League begins, Round 1, Ash vs. some random dude or Bianca, Round 2, Ash vs. Burgundy, Round 3, Ash vs. Stephen.
October
BW105-109: Round 4, Ash vs. Trip, probably will take only 2 eps since Ash and Trip are nowhere near as epic as Ash and Paul. Semi-Finals, Ash vs. some dude, and he probably loses there.
November-end of BW
BW110-end of BW: Nothing would satisfy me more than Hoenn Battle Frontier season.

I hope that pre-Gen V Pokemon will return before the end of the league, but probably not.

I think Pignite (Tepig) will evolve into Emboar and stop obeying Ash (like Charizard), I mean they seem to be trying to copy the first season in a way.

I haven't gotten around to see the newest episode of BW yet, but I have seen some pics on serebii, it seems like Krokorok is about to evolve, but stops it. Then again it might be that it wants to fight Pikachu in the same stage that it lost against him in.

Eh I don't see Ash losing to Skyla, since it seems like she is going to beat Cilan. So two companions losing to her would be a stretch.

And I don't see any of the pre-Gen V returning due to the fact of how many pokemon already has on his team. He can essentially work on a two team rotation. He stuck with Hoenn only and he had less then this.

No it did not seem like it was going to evolve. Nothing in the episode gave indicate that it would seem to evolve there or soon.

Hold your horses, we saw the same thing with Emolga. Though there are already different ways this sort of thing, Emolga was just having fun disobeying Iris, Excadrill was afraid he'd let Iris down again, others like Charizard and Mamoswine were lazy and didn't take Ash or Dawn seriously. I don't mind if they do the disobeying trainers again with another Pokémon, because it's bound to happen again anyway. Probably not Emboar, but then again it sort of seems to have the same sort of background as Charmander, although Pignite seemed very jolly in the new ending. But yeah, wouldn't mind it happening as long as it's not pointless. You can't really say Pokémon shouldn't have to listen to their trainers anyway, I think trainers need to gain their trust, which has been shown with Charizard, they just seem like they're mindlessly following orders otherwise.

Yes I get fear out of losing, regardless it wasn't obeying orders at the time. Emolga is just a brat like Scraggy was when it first hatched I don't know how much that is attributed to it disobeying. Point is making Emboar disobey just cause it has a similar background to Charizard seems rather redundant and forced. As you said Pignite seemed cheerful unlike Charmelon, so I don't see this being the case. Or there being any others since we already had Excadrill, Emolga, Scraggy(due to it being a baby, and it was more spontaneous nature then actually disobeying commands).

But that still falls into the same category, Emolga wasn't doing anything Iris said, just kept using Volt Switch to annoy her. I can see others rather than for the same reasons, like you said- otherwise it'd seem forced, probably not Emboar though.

A little more on-topic, I'm hoping to see the TR vs TP episodes aired this year, there was speculation on them being remade on another forum which I found interesting. I can see the Unova League by the end of this year, or perhaps early next year. I want a filler arc with previous generation Pokémon, which could probably be made between two gyms like the whirl cup, maybe to promote R/S/E remakes, I suppose we'll have to wait and see.

Here's my list of Pokemon by the end of the league.

Ash - Pikachu, Unfezant (F), Oshawott, Emboar, Servine/Serperior, Scraggy/Scrafty, Leavanny, Seismitoad, Gigalith, Krookodile
Iris - Axew/Fraxure, Excadrill, Emolga, Deino/Zweilous
Cilan - Pansage, Crustle, Stunfisk, Heatmor
Jessie - Swoobat, Durant (lol -------^)
James - Yamask/Cofagrigus, Maractus

We've already established that Tranquill, Tepig, and Swadloon will be evolving in the near future. Pignite will probably evolve again. I think that Snivy will evolve once, not so sure about twice. I doubt Oshawott will evolve. The only main character's Water starter that's ever evolved was Brock's Mudkip. Scraggy might evolve, but I think he's already rather strong. Palpitoad'll probably evolve around the Moor of Icirrus. Boldore and Krokorok will probably evolve soon. Axew, since it is Iris' mission to evolve it into "A Great Haxorus", will probably evolve soon. Like many predictions state, she'll probably catch a Deino. I'd love to see Woobat evolve. However, I really want to see one of the "twerps" catch a Heatmor and one of the Rockets catch a Durant. I also want to see James catch a Maractus that loves to hug him!

I can't remember but did Iris actually do anything to curb the disobedience of Emolga? I think Snivy dominate female role helped Emolga obey Iris, since it couldn't get its way around Snivy. That said it seems the whole Emolga not obeying is in the past, so I hope they just wait until the next gen if they are going to do this again.

TR vs. TP being remade and the other one being pitched I presume? Since I heard speculation/theory that they would just do away with BW023 & BW024 and rework them into a future episode. Although seems kind of weird cause we had all that build up to the episodes. I just hope in some way they work TP in cause it would be a shame if we didn't really get to see them altogether(which seems doubtful to me) or in a couple episode feature and that's it. I was hoping we would get to see Dawn in Hoenn and promote it that way and maybe Brock meets up there as well so they can get adequate cameos instead of the specials they got. If they open it up to past gens prior to the league it would seem to give the oppurinutity for Ash to use some of his past pokes in the league(which I don't get the feeling he will).
