Simple Question, really. Have you ever preordered any of the Pokemon Games?
If so, how many have you preordered, and if there's a reason why you preordered them, feel free to include it in your post. The only Pokemon games that I've preordered where Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness, and HeartGold. HeartGold was definetly worth it, PMD, not so much.

The only two games I pre-ordered were my imports. My grandmother got them for me for my birthday. Sure, both times it was about a month after my birthday, but SoulSilver and White were great birthday presents! :D

I pre-ordered Platinum, my second Pokemon game and I planned on doing so onwards, though it may not be likely for Black. I pre-order to be one of the firsts to get the game and for the speshul gift =3

The first game I preordered was Emerald. And it was completely by accident. I went to gamestop the day before Emerald was released. I really dont know why I thought it was going to be out that day. So my mom yelled at me for dragging her down there, and the clerk said that I could pre-order it. I had no idea what that meant. xD But I got a lot of Emerald merchandise! :D

I also pre ordered Heartgold, Black, and White. I was wise to do it with Heartgold cause they were sold out where I lived. The same thing is probably going to happen with Black and White.

I do remembering pre-ordering Diamond and Pearl because I got the Dialga and Palkia styluses (I lost the Palkia one). I haven't pre-ordered other games since then.

I've pre-ordered every Pokemon game I've ever bought except for Red (which I got for my birthday and introduced me to Pokemon), Yellow (which I got way after release due to my delayed introduction to Pokemon) and Platinum, because I was somehow totally unaware that it was being released. I have Black and White pre-ordered now.

I pre-order them because it's the way I've always done it. There will always be copies available regardless of pre-ordering, but it's just tradition now. Even if I do have to pay a little extra.
