Welcome to the Prettiest Profile Contest! This is a contest to show off your artistic talents by creating a new profile design for yourself. Such designs may include an awesome colour scheme, a nice profile picture, and in the case of supporters, a matching wallpaper. Be creative and make something unique!

There will be two winners. Because of the fact that staff and supporters have more profile customization options than members, one member will win, and one supporter or staff member will win.

Rules

? To enter, post here to let us know. As soon as you've posted you may start work on your profile!
? Your profile must have been created after you signed up for the event. Old profiles may not be submitted.
? Submissions will close on September 28th, and judging will be completed on September 30th. Modifying your profile during the judging period is not allowed and may result in disqualification.

Theme

As an optional theme, you may create a profile design based on your Get-Together house! Successfully creating such a theme will award you up to ten (10) bonus points.

Judging

The profiles will be judged by myself and colours.

Use of colour and style (10 points)
Lack of colour clashes, use complimentary colours.

Theme (10 points)
Adherence with the optional theme described above.

use of colours and overall profile theme are probably the only things we need to judge on imo and whether or not the two compliment each other or are basically like pineapple on pizza (gross)

that said, if those are going to be the only two metrics we judge on, the scoring will have to be adjusted accordingly. i honestly think out of 20 points wouldn't hurt, with colours and theme both being weighed equally... although this would be unfair towards non-supporters. hm. perhaps this could be the way we look at supporters/staff entries, then.

for non-supporters, because they can only use colours on their profiles, we can tweak it to be slightly different -- it'll still be out of 20, but we'll weigh colouration more. Themeing for non-supporters can still be done via profile pictures so I suppose we can still take that into account.

so like, x/15 colours for reg members, x/5 for theming which adds up to 20
x/10 and x10 for supporter/staff on colours/themeing because they have much more customisation

tbh i wouldn't complicate it *quite* that much - i'd say non-supporters can still do an okay job with profile customization to fit a house - like with a colour scheme and profile picture. i'd prefer to weight it out of 20 for both supporters and members, balanced the same.

also any ideas for what image to do for the banner background?

and uhhhhh shit you got me there. .___. really id just be fine with the default GT logo being used as the banner because im not particularly good when it comes to image backgrounds...
