I believe I have to do something in the tileset so this doesn´t happen

I want the player to not talk through that part of the bench. What, if possible, can i do to make it not talk through that?

I think the best option is to change the "Passage (4 dir)"-value of the tiles. Just remove the upper arrow and look whether it works.

Event activation doesn't care about passage. It's how you can have what I call "bump exits", where the door event is sitting over the black past the edge of an indoor map, and the player can simply bump into it to exit.
