Prinplup and Metal Claw?

Have you seen the Move Tutor moves introduced in Platinum... they dont make sense anymore...

Prinplup with metal claw was before Platinum. I've told this guy on a different forum that Prinplup has claws hidden in it's flesh of it's wings but he doesn't believe me and it says that exact way on different info sites about it.

These claws must be very hidden, because i never saw then. But what other steel type move could it learn? maybe it uses the tip of the wing, idk.

But it gets claws after evolution. =)

I suppose Prinplup is not "clawing" with his wings, but rather "slashing/slicing".
Notice how Prinplup's wings are a bit lighter at the tips?

there are plenty moves that should not come with some pokemon, like togekiss with focus punch, drain punch or peck even it doesn't have arm or beak but that's the way designer want

To be fair, Peck is called "Jab" in Japan, which is why so many beakless Pokemon learn it, Like Nidoran Male and Mamoswine.

Drill Peck, however, is called 'Drill Beak" in Japan, which is why only beaked Pokemon can learn it.

So, contrary to what the English names suggest, Drill Peck is NOT a stronger counterpart to Peck.

With Togepi, Togetic, and Togekiss, it most likley refers to the barbs on their heads. After all, Togepi has been able to get Peck via Breeding since its introduction in GSC.

This makes the most sense to me.
Just because the name may refer to using claws or nails doesn't mean it discludes other limps, appendages, etc. on the body.
