1st Gen PrismoStar's R/B/Y Challenge! (Can YOU beat it?)

    My challenge is simple.

    You must make it through the game using only one type. This type will be either Fire, Grass, Or Water, depending on your starter Pokemon. (Electric if you're playing Yellow)

    The only exception is HMs. You can only use a Pokemon that is not your "type" for HMs. They may not battle.

    So pretty much you have to beat the game battling with only one type. Once you beat the elite four champ, the challenge ends.
     
    So basically it's a monotype challenge limited to Grass, Fire, Water, or Electric-if-playing-Yellow?
